Edit: Another filming picture from MV

FINALLY. Now we get a little taste of Shoujo Jidai, with the teaser for the Japanese version of Genie. The concept appears to have changed by  looks of the MV to a more cutesy feel but still smexy 🙂 It even kinda looks like a circus related concept thing…(?) I guess we’ll have to see the entire MV, but for now this is good enough! Let’s now spazz together, Japanese style.

Another picture from the filming of the MV (sorry it’s a bit small) Not really the military outfit we’re used to seeing, but they still look cute nonetheless. The old outfits looked more powerful but I’m thinking they’re going for a more cute concept, which is pretty much what JPOP is known for. Not really feeling the white hats yet….but I probably will later on haha.

And another little btw, according to PeteSamchon (bossa747)  the lamp rubber guy is apparently an SM trainee.

  3. OMG i really really cant wait for the full mv, and the new concept seems to be very good like it actually makes sense that the song is called genie now, but what was the japanese sowonel marhaebwa? sisaeny narowah ? so friggin “cawaiiiii” lol i really can not wait

    1. there’s no date yet for the full mv so far, but when it comes we’ll jump on it. seriously i was like checking universal music japan’s youtube every hour 🙂

    1. I totally agree :)…although I love the military concept, I also like this circus with penguin jackets concept, it looks more fun and refreshing.

    2. Well, I actually thought that those marine outfit seems to appeal to Japanese coz it is quite sophisticated, but I’m glad they go for this concept, so it doesnt look like a recycle of Korean Version.Looks like Universal+SM are doing their job for the girls. Thumbs up.

  11. OH EM GEE GEE GEE GEEEEE! I can’t wait to see the full video now! I’m a bit confused about how the concept will be both military and circus though? We know they’re gonna be in their uniforms (THANK GOD) at some point in the video from all the BTS photos. Maybe the circus theme is just for the teaser? Anyhow, I’m excited to see how they work that ^^ Lol at SM making the most out of their renting of flow-mo cams recently too.
    @Neuv It sounds something like “useni neruwa” to my ears, but I haven’t got a clue what it actually is either haha
    @ferrerorocher9 None of the Universal Music Japan video’s are HD by the looks of things :/ Booo!

    you’re right. Circus concept like this is WAYYYY safer than military concept with the outfits and stuffs related to the army :\
