It seems like SM Entertainment have been working on the girls’ live concert album and it might be released pretty soon. If you recalled, a preview/teaser of Tiffany singing Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” the song that she sang at the girls’ solo concerts, was released recently. Now, 2 more teasers have been released -Taeyeon’s and Jessica’s-. Check them out cause they sound amazing!

I don’t know about you guys, but I am definitely excited for their live concert album. Hopefully more teasers will be released soon, or better yet, the full versions. I can’t wait!

there is no power at all in Taeyeon’s singing. it sounds poor in her standards, it sounds really flat.
Jessica and that song are just awful. I hate that song and in this version she sounds so creepy. its giving me goosebumps not in a good way
Lol I can see what you mean with Jessica’s, but Taeyeon’s? In that 25 second clip there’s about 7 seconds of her singing. Me thinks we should wait for the whole thing before we judge.

I am not an anti. Thinking this audio does not do their voices justice makes me an anti? Do I have to lie and say they sound amazing when they obviously don’t? As sones do we always have to think that they sound good when they don’t? I didn’t know that.
Taeyeon sounded awesome live, her voice had so much power (even in the chorus). but in this studio version its just flat/no power, there is no other word for it, looking at those ‘7 seconds’ she sang does give you an impression of whats to come, I really hope its not whats in my head and that the whole version is better and is either like or better than the live version.
whoever in sm gave Jessica Barbie girl for a song needs to die, really needs to die. Why would you give the second best singer in SNSD that song? it doesnt even show off her voice or anything. And like I said before she in this studio version teaser sounds creepy and gives me goosebumps in a bad way.

Calm down babycakes, it’s only an intro. You can even hear towards the end it’s slowing down… probably anticipating for something a little more epic. Who knows, it might be different from what you think?
But of course, live performances always feel different from studio recordings in principle, so I wouldn’t expect to hear Taeyeon belting those notes like Whitney either. Thank goodness for fan recordings!
(P.S – I’ve always been disappointed about Jessica’s song selection too. It’s such a terrible song, and it only makes it worse that Jessica’s the one playing blond bimbo Barbie. DX)

jay is right taebaby has an awesome voice but its only the beginning of the song. Beside tae’s voice is readable. When they release the whole studio version I’m sure it will sound great. Shes not lead vocal for nothing. I wonder if they are gonna do the studio releases for the supporting vocals in snsd.
I heard that those previews are not official but kinds of guide version or chorus. It becomes clear that Tae’s version contains only chorus if you compare this with one of the fancams (for instance, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=099MAclmJvs&hd=1 check from 0:42). And… rumor still says that SM will not release the girls’ covers due to the copyright things. So, I’ll suppose those previews are just the leaks until they really release them, because I don’t want to disappointed.
