3 Years of SNSD! I seriously don’t know about you guys, but I can’t believe 3 whole years has passed since the day of their debut. I remember the day when they first debuted. I was like “wow, this group is huge” and I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t really fond of the group at first; I didn’t think they were special, but my thought was wrong because if they weren’t/aren’t special, I wouldn’t have a reason to join to become an SNSDKorean staff and spazz about the girls all the time with our readers. I wouldn’t be able to make this post actually! Anyways, I’m rambling. Over these 3 years, the girls have grown and matured into beautiful and successful singers/actors/MCs/DJs/etc.
Congratulations to the girls on their 3rd anniversary. They have worked hard over these 3 years to pursue their dreams and to get their name out to the world. It can’t be denied that “So Nyuh Shi Dae”/”Girls’ Generation” is THE best and most popular girl group in Asia right now. If you don’t know who SNSD is, have you been living under a rock all this time? ( LOL just kidding, but seriously shame on you! (: )
In celebration for their 3 years anniversary, we’ve thought of making a fun-filled random post with an attempt for our readers to enjoy and smile/laugh/giggle/chuckle/smirk during the week of the girls’ anniversary. How? WE’RE BRINGING BACK “WHERE’S WALDO” TO THE BLOG! Seeing how some of ours readers liked, “WHERE’S TIFFANY,” we decided to do “WHERE’S SNSD.”

So, been feeling like SNSD isn’t around at all lately? Well, that’s because they reportedly aren’t even in Korea right now! The girls have recently been spotted in Phuket, Thailand for work, filming or doing photoshoots for a possible 2nd photobook or an MV.
Thai-S♡NEs are being super civil and mature, having given them a proper S♡NE greeting at the airport as well as making sure that the girls go undisturbed during their stay. Continue reading

Forgive this lowly writer, for this one is slow and forgetful. This happened like almost a week ago, but it totally slipped my mind and I forgot to finish this post T_T. Well, no matter, better late than never right?
Alongside several projects like SSF’s ‘SONEs Around the World’ video and V-SONE’s ‘Pink-Line’ project, Thai-SONEs and Indo-SONEs have also organized some stuff. Thai-SONEs decided to get together for a project in SNSD’s name and donated blood, saving dozens or even possibly hundreds of accident or thalassemia victims around the world. Continue reading

August 5th, the official day of Soshi’s anniversary. We’ve finally hit the third year and in this time, old and new fans have found something special to love about SNSD whether it be through a song, performance, picture, etc.
The staffers here at SNSDKorean now would like to share with you our personal favorites of SNSD. It’s pretty long but..it’s always great to reminisce. Have fun 🙂

Almost exactly three years ago, on 2nd of August 2007, SNSD released their debut single: “Into the New World”. Who would’ve thought that they would literally literally take us into the whole new world?

You know, the world where the word “mushroom” is no longer merely a type of fungus, or where the word “genie” is not the magical spirit who grants wishes of its beholder? All these words that once you go into the SoShi world, they’d have a whole different meaning. You know what you will always see in Vietnam? Bikes. Motorbikes, bicycles…They’re goddamn everywhere. But hey, one could say it’s the national ‘ride’ of Vietnam. Almost cultural, that bi-wheeled vehicle.
