On December 16th, SNSD returned to Music Bank with an explosive performance of “MR.TAXI”. In contrast to the police uniforms worn on yesterday’s M! Countdown, SNSD donned grey outfits that, despite the usual blandness of the colour, contained a tinge of velvet and a lot of sparkle. Of course, we can’t forget about those knee-high black boots.
SNSD promoted and saw huge success with “MR.TAXI” in Japan earlier this year, and it seems the Korean version of the song has proven to be equally as popular in Korea. The girls will continue to promote the song until the end of the year.
Invincible Youth Season 2, EP 5 has been subbed! This week they move into their newly built G8 house. Treasure hunts for refrigerators ensue along with crazy cooking shenanigans and a nice housewarming! Enjoy!
SMTown has just released the MV for ‘Santa U Are The One‘ off their latest winter album, ‘The Warmest Gift‘. The track was sung by Super Junior and Super Junior-M members, Henry & Zhoumi. While the ladies of SNSD did not directly participate in the filming, they are featured in the MV through various clips from the album photo-shoot.
On December 9th and 10th, SNSD performed in Singapore for the third leg of their 2nd Asia Tour. On both nights, the Singapore Indoor Stadium was completely flooded with SONEs from all across Asia to see nine ladies do what they do best.
On the 7th of December, the ‘2011 FNS Music Festival‘ was broadcasted by Japan’s Fuji TV. Girls’ Generation/ Shoujo Jidai were one of the chosen acts at the large-scale festival where they put on another perfect performance of their Japanese hit single, ‘MR TAXI‘.
In addition to the Kōhaku Uta Gassen, the girls have also been invited yet again to attend Music Station’s year end finale, ‘Music Station Super Live 2011‘. The event will take place on the 23rd of December at ‘Chiba’s Makuhari Messe event hall’.
With all these invitations to Japan’s big end-year music festivals, the girls have truly taken the ‘Land of the Rising Sun’ by storm.
