Our nine girls just had another IdealType World Cup on KBS Sweet Night (previously named as Champagne). Yoona, who appeared on the first segment (previous episode), can’t make it to the Ideal Type segment recording as she had to leave early due to her schedule. However she still voted through text message if there’s a tie on the vote.
The nine girls of SNSD were sporting a new set of white outfits for their Oh! live performance. I’m not digging the hairbands and the braids… but the girls look so cute and energetic today. Taeyeon still had to lip-sync her part, though. Get well soon, Taengoo!

Sadly, the girls didn’t win today as the Inkigayo mutizens goes to 2AM. The 4 talented boys won their first ever mutizen since their debut. Congrats 2AM!
Today episode of Star King looks like a fun one! It has Sooyoung and Seohyun battle it out on pillow fight, the Long Dari Team (SooRiSeo) as a part of magic show (they’re changing clothes in split-second!), and roommies Jessica and Sooyoung trying to sing Korean traditional song. Ok, I honestly haven’t got a time to watch these video cuts yet… but anyway, enjoy the videos!
This is the day we’ve been waiting for… SNSD performed Star Star Star (Byul Byul Byul) and Oh! on MBC Music Core. The nine girls sang the highly-anticipated Star Star Star (full song!) and as expected, the song showcased their vocals very well. SNSD also wear a new set of cheerleader outfits for this performance in Music Core.

I’ve been waiting for this~ Finally SM Entertainment released SNSD’s Oh! dance video. I have to say that I’m, once again, impressed by how sharp their movements and how in sync the nine girls are. Rino Nakasone of Beat Freaks, the choreographer, did an awesome job on choreographing this, imo. 🙂
Have you watched SNSD‘s new music video, ‘Oh!‘? I you have, then you’ll most likely agree that the main highlight of the MV is the unexpected and very intriguing ending scene — which explain some rumors that have been going on prior to the release of ‘Oh!’

The last scene wherein the cheerleader!SNSD shocked by the sudden appearance of KPSD badass!SNSD has gained a lot of attention from fans and non-fans alike. Could it be their next concept? SM Entertainment representative confirmed that it will be their next concpet, “The ending teaser is intended to generate curiosity amongst viewers about SNSD’s complete transformation”. Sweet. Is it too much if I say that SM is such a genius?

I LOVE THE CHEERLEADER CONCEPT SFM!
* I was disappointed with the teaser picture but this teaser vid change everything XD
Now I have my expectation back, I mean it’s Kenzie’s song after all. Most of her song succeed to showcase the girls’ vocals. Plus if this is the video Lisette Bustamante has been talking about… then I’ll expect a nice choreo too 🙂
But what’s with re-using ITNW concert pink cheerleading outfits, SME? D:
The response for the teaser video was amazing. As you might have known ‘Oh’ teaser video was revealed for the first time on the portal site Naver Music, on January 23rd at 00:00 am. Well maybe not at exactly 00:00 am KST, because Naver was crashed due too many people trying to access the site. SNSD’s biggest international forum, Soshified lagged (well at least it was for me ;_;) and break its most-users-online record by having 1,572 members online on the forum. Of course, the hype made an impact on Twitter too. Without any plan beforehand, international Sones managed to get #SNSDOh on Twitter’s trending topics… up until it was #4 on the list, before Twitter took it off from the list (sigh. #SNSDOh ain’t a spam dammit!)
And this is only a teaser video… imagine what would happen when they released the song and the MV! The song, Oh!, will be revealed on January 25th. The full second album will be released on January 28th, while the first performance will be on (of course, MC Fany and MC Yul’s) MBC Music Core on January 30th.
[Update]Turns out it’s Rino Nakasone who choreographed this, as seen on her tweet about Oh!
Woah. Now I wonder about this…
Is that means Lisette Bustamante worked with the girls for another video or something? *confused*
Oh, in case you don’t remember, Rino Nakasone did the choreo for ‘Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)’. And I still somewhat disappointed at the choreo. Don’t take me wrong, Rino is an outsanding dancer / choreographer as seen on her other works, but Genie was just… disappointing for me. I love Genie choreography, but it clearly isn’t as strong as I expected. Or maybe I was expecting too much back then :[ Sigh. Now I don’t know what to expect anymore..
Yesterday Korean fans were talking about how the singer for SBS‘s new logo song sounds awfully like SNSD Jessica… well she is. It’s confirmed that all nine members ofSNSD sang for SBS new logo song. I’d say that I’m kind of surprised. Correct me if I’m wrong, but among the big three Korean TV networks (KBS, SBS, and MBC), all this time it seems like SNSD makes least appearances on SBS. Like I wouldn’t be surprised at all if it was MBC, you know… But anyway, good for the girls and SBS I guess. 😀

So yesterday we had Pokémon + SNSD… how about Star Wars for today, eh?
