On “Strong Heart” aired March 6th, model Lee HyunI shared her experience in Italy during one of her schedules.
First, commenting on Seohyun’s dream to become UN Secretary General like her idol Ban Ki-moon, HyunI said, “I think Girls’ Generation are more actively involved in foreign relations than UN Secretary General Ban KiMoon”. Haha, wow, that’s some world power right there!
She also said, “When I was in Italy, a person came up to me and asked ‘Do you know this song?’, while Girls’ Generation’s ‘Hoot’ was being played. During the 8-hour shooting session, Girls’ Generation songs could be heard around the set. Listening to Girls’ Generation’s songs in Milan, Italy made me feel really proud”.
This is just awesome! SNSD songs being played in Italy?? Global Generation looks like it’s here, not coming! I’m still looking forward to that day when I hear their upcoming English album played here on the air waves in America! In due time, in due time. SNSD hwaiting!

Riding down the street one day from work i herd some girls listening to Genie i got too excited and called a few friends to let them know *they didn’t care* then i realized i completely missed the chance to finally meet another sone in real life >.<. btw im in america
I’m Italian, and I am a big fan of Snsd! All around Italy, there’s are a lot of SONE! ^_^
Why can’t SNSD know? Why can’t they know that EVERYWHERE they are a hit? Why can’t they come to AZ (Arizona)? If you look for their song on YouTube, I bet you… that they are more than 1,000,000 view for Gee, or Oh!, or even Genie!
In America, maybe a lot of people don’t know yet SNSD or K-pop because people dislike the type of music.
I just laugh heartily at them and say :”You are deaf, girl, wayyyyyy deaf! Have you heard SNSD? They are rocking! I have to listen or sing their song everyday… just because! You should open your ears!”
They look at me like I’m crazy, then I go to their house because of a playdate and the first thing I did was go on YouTube and listen to one of SNSD’s song and their like: “Wow… this band is awesome at singing and my brother would love to see that body shake and dance!” And I smirked and say in my head: “YES! Kpop is spreading!”
