Access Hollywood had the chance to sit down with Sooyoung, Tiffany and Jessica during their stay in New York for a short English interview. Interview links and a brief overview are provided after the cut.
During the interview the girl’s touched on many interesting issues relating to their US debut and specifically talked about what it personally meant for them. Tiffany and Jessica shared their thoughts as American Born Koreans, and Sooyoung provided insight as a foreigner to America. They also touched on what it was like to work with producer Teddy Riley.
It’s important to point out that Sooyoung displayed some exceptional grasp of the English language during the interview and definitely portrayed her feelings well. She has definitely been working hard!
While some of the answers may seem familiar from other English interviews, it was still awesome to see the girls grab some more exposure in the United States.

anyone noticed that when it comes to english tiffany get’s super excited. She loves the english language so much ❤ normally during interviews she's some what quiet but when they speak english she's the main talker. Jess is all what evs laid back mode
haha yeah I think that’s she feels more comfortable expressing herself in English 😀 no matter how much you study and practice another language, it’s never the same as speaking in your native tongue.
Sooyoung’s English is good…a lot better then my Korean. I have to work hard like she does so I can get better.
They are so great! I hope they do more things in the US and get more exposure, but ofcourse not too much work because they need rest. I just wish the whole group could get one full day of sleep or something. Because I feel really bad that they only get a few hours of sleep sometimes, and its not like a student thing where you get holidays and weekends to be lazy. Its a daily thing for them. Its sad, but they pull through so amazingly! GO SOSHI! ❤
Another JeTi English moment! Hooray from a Malaysian raised in a US environment as well! And loving the effort of Sooyoung. Hope all 9 members will be able to speak English soon and make it BIG in the US and the world!!!!!!!!!

As for Tiffany and Jessica, what else can I say, I just Love the way they speak English 😉 !!!
I can’t believe that Jess & Tiff could Speak English very fluently. But i know they’re born in the USA .
Sooyoung’s english has improve really well compared with her “I like black men” days xD. I really like her accent when she spoke english, and she was somewhat elegant and extremely pretty when she spoke english as well! I am so proud of her^^. Tiffany is excited speaking english as usual lol. And Jessica is speaking a little bit more and not looking so bored, which is good haha. SNSD fighting.

Sooyoung’s English is really impressive…. she doesn’t have that much of accent and just love her voice when she speaks English

Uhm.. enough chatting on interviews.. uh, how about that SNSD ONLY concert in LA or NY? Any news on that? 😛

Sica: “Are you guys ready?”
Fany: “I hope you are, because we’re coming!”

I definitely felt something when Sooyoung spoke xD
