Earlier today, SNSD departed from Gimpo International Airport en route to Taipei, for the next leg of The 2nd Asia Tour: Girls’ Generation.
This time around, it appeared as though the media were much more civilized, after the debacle that occurred upon the girls’ return from Japan a few days ago.
It may have been the backlash from fans towards the paparazzi or the beefed up security (see pictures), but in either case, the girls’ were today, able to comfortably walk through the airport showing off their impeccable fashion sense.
Let’s hope they fare just as well when they touchdown in Taipei. Hit the jump for the pictures!
Arriving At Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport

“Girls’ Generation has arrived in Taiwan for their 3-days concert and fans who were present at the airport welcomed them with ecstatic screams. Let us take a look at the current situation. What you are seeing is a South Korean idol group, Girls’ Generation, and they are here in Taiwan to hold their “2011 GIRLS’ GENERATION TOUR” for 3 consecutive days at the Taipei Arena. This is Girls’ Generation’s second time in Taiwan, but their presence has not diminished. The screams by the fans present are so deafening that everybody is about to go deaf, but as you might have noticed, because of a recent car accident, member Sooyoung is unable to attend the concert and only 8 out of the 9-members are here. Although many fans think that it is a huge pity that only 8 members are able to make the concert, they are still giving all their support as if there are no setbacks.”

It’s good to see the paparazzi were civilized this time, thank god. They look so much better and so beautiful in this pictures.
Please to all the SONEs who are at the airport when the girls are there too, if there is a problem like the last time with the paparazzi. Help the girls!!! No, I’m not asking for violence, and certainly I’m not asking for a fight with the paparazzi (that would be really bad for the girls). But you can try to talk with them to be more civilized, or create a human wall to clear a free path for the girls to reach their vehicles or the gates, or some place safe.
We SONEs love this girls and we have to protect them, but remember: NO VIOLENCE. That would only make any problem bigger, put the girls in danger of being hurt or at least would be very bad for their image.
Let’s hope this problem never happens again (and SMTown gets better security just in case). SNSD Hwaiting!!!!

They just finished their concert in Taiwan. Here in the airport they are really so popular, I think airports are really the best place to see them in personal. 😉 haha
Wait what happened with snsd and the paparazzi “last time”? Anyway I feel kinda bad for the girls, I would hate to have a camera so close to me filming my every move =/
I think (don’t blame me if I’m wrong, and please correct me if you have the right information) that when they returned to Korean, the paparazzi really like pounded them, taking pictures ALOT with them without their consent, you know just going next to them to take pics, and then closer and much more crazier than the fancams in this article, so yeah.. personally, i didn’t see the difference, everytime they go to airports it just seems like there is less security and anyone can touch them or whatever. I feel really bad for them, taking all those pics especially when they just came out of a long flight or are really tired (even though they still look beautiful) they may not feel like they look pretty themselves. Idk, it just seems like they don’t enjoy airports anymore, at least just out of the airplane. (SO SAD 😦 )
