Yes, the 9 ladies have left Korea for Paris and SM Town 😀 !
Midst a week of record-breaking album sales in Japan, various appearances on Japanese television, and a sensational concert tour, Girls’ Generation are now on their way across the world for their first performance in Europe for SM Town Live in Paris.
Despite Sooyoung being sick, Jessica’s voice giving out, and Sunny’s sudden trip to the hospital mid-concert, the girls managed to put on a fantastic show in their three Japanese concerts staged so far.
In essence, the angelic 9 hope to replicate this successful showing in Europe as well, as they returned to Korea just yesterday and are heading out to Paris today.
Their appearance in Paris, along with those of their labelmates have been hotly anticipated, concert tickets selling out in mere minutes. Such is the demand that SM Entertainment ended up adding a second concert performance date. The shows will be held on June 10th and 11th at the ZENITH de Paris.

Personally, I get the impression the 9 ladies look really exhausted from the photos (with the exception of Hyoyeon, of course 🙂 ). Nonetheless, they all still managed to look gorgeous (especially Tiffany and Seohyun ;)) !

THEY LOOK GEORGOUS WITHOUT MAKEUP!!! but sooyoung, sunny and jessica looks sickly. sooyoung looked really pale! At least they’ll get some rest on the plane… and i think the two maknaes look superb! haha

I think many fans would have commented how exhausted, worn out they look; what I hope for the girls is that they will continue to have good health/ recover well so they could deliver well in their performances- as how they wanted for their fans, and of course more time, day offs to themselves for working so hard! 🙂

Just noticed that our dear Hyo had a wardrobe malfunction! The back of her dress tore, revealing her bra strap!
And in I think about the two of the pictures, Seo can be seen looking at the back of her dress, probably checking out the gaping hole. Seo’s reaction was like “OMG!” Hahahah, poor Hyo.. At least she managed to cover it up with a jacket (:
Although Soo Young looked exhausted, she still looked like a top model with her amazing style!

from a eurosone fan account: majority of the sones only found out about their arrival on the same day, so only a few sones were there to greet them at the airport. i believe SM intended it this way because of SNSD’s exhaustion with their current japanese tour. SNSD is the first group from SM to arrived in Paris possibly to give them some R&R time to get a proper rest and go on around town to explore(they are in Paris after all so why not see the place). Sooyoung will definitely love Paris with all the shopping boutiques and famous brands around in every city corner :). So this is basically a mix of vacation and not just work for the girls :).

Anyway, I certainly hope that SNSD has managed to acquire as much as rest as possible while on the long flight because their concerts in Japan have appeared to sapped much of their lively energy. Luckily, from what I can tell, they appear relatively effervescent, albeit a little weary from their trip. I hope that the concert in Paris, France won’t be so strenuous on the ladies themselves, now that they’ve got the support of “new” fans and the whole of SMTown.
All the best for one of the greatest shows in 2011 to have stellar performances and positive responses from everyone which transcend expectations.

Yes, it’s true, Hyo and Sunny seem to be the most popular members in Europe and the Americas, at least from what I’ve seen. Sooyoung is pretty well-liked too.
