A recent episode of Mnet’s “Idol Chart Show” listed our dear Hyo among the top 10 idols in their specialized performance talents.
What can that be, you might ask ? Why, dancing, of course 😀 !
Mnet’s “Idol Chart Show” recently listed Hyoyeon as one of the top 10 idols with the best dancing skills.
Rankings aside, the following video clip is proof positive why Hyoyeon deserves the accolades heaped on her by the show’s hosts.
The clip is a compilation of Hyoyeon’s epic dance performance at the 2007 Mnet KM Music Festival (MKMF) as well as of her dancing during her pre-debut days. Enjoy !
(Posts on Hyoyeon are few and far in-between, so hopefully this will alleviate the drought a little for fans of our dancing queen ;).)

In my opinion, Hyoyeon should at least be in the Top5. She dances way better than some of the males up there on the list. Her popping and locking would totally destroy them XDD

I agree completely. There’s no way that HyunA, Kahi and Minzy should be ranked higher than Hyoyeon, yes they may have more powerful or sexier moves, but the bottom line is, no female dancer in that list of Top 20 can pop and lock like Hyoyeon. The only people with equal/similar ability are those male dancers in the top 5. I have no problems with Yunho and Jay Park because they’re supreme dancers in their world, Yunho is a pop & lock king and Jay is arguably the best b-boy in Kpop. The list is just wacked, a lot of rankings are just wrong, but none is as grossly underrated as Hyoyeon.
Kwon Yuri didn’t even make the list… she deserves a spot at least in the top 15.
i still can’t believe she only came 10th, still though, it’s really good to see her in the news for a change 🙂

That list is crap, sorry to say. I mean not just the fact that Hyo is tenth but there are missing many good k-pop dancers and what is G-na doing in the list. AND plase do more HYO posts, please!!

I only wish she sang more. She has distinctive voice, less “girly” (I mean more mature, with lower tones) than other girls. She gets one or two lines nowadays, she really deserves more.
BTW did you notice, with new Japanese album it seems the division of lead singers (Tiffany, Jessica, Taeyeon, Seohyun) and the rest is more profound? These 4 girls, maybe Sunny too, get whole verses, and rest have single lines? I think “lyrics distribution” was more equal before, with main singers taking ad libs and maybe more lines, but still leaving room for remaining ones?

ive seen the rankings and hyunah whatever her name is. i like her and all but she is not top 5 material, she is weak sauce compared to gahee, hyoyeon, and minzy. even minzy is weak sauce compared to hyo but minzy is up there but she isnt above hyoyeon in my opinion. minzy is nothing booty poppin n ground humping, ive seen her lock a lil. shes young so she can improve and learn new stuff but i havent seen anything but booty popping. as for hyunha (spelling?) i havent seen by her but sexy dances or what some people tend to call slutty but idc she isnt that good. hyo can do practically all those things its just not show cased anymore like it used to.

kahi, sophisticated, hyuna, sexy. But hyoyeon can do all of that even more. their dances are so simple, not that simple but its simple compared to hyoyeons

However, sometimes things aren’t always what we want them to be; like I stated before, I posted this because Hyo gets so little coverage anywhere, and whatever news about her, I feel, should be shared, and any triumph celebrated by her fans.

This site deserves more props for posting a Hyo post. That girl needs to be recognized, I must say.Hyo biasness aside, I personally prefer her to be in the Top 5. Min should be higher, Kahi to be on the top 3, Hyuna to be ranked lower, Minzy within the top 10 range. And yes, yuri should be on the Top 20 list.
