Just saw this random post on Soshified forums and that it would be interesting to get some opinions here too….
Singer Yoon Dohyun drew some hilarity recently by combining his picture with a picture from Girls’ Generation’s “Run Devil Run” poster.
Yoon Dohyun digitally superimposed his facial features over that of the 9 ladies and posted the final image on his Twitter account. He entitled it: “This is ‘Dohyun’s Generation’? Do it right. You’re really a bad boy”, causing Netizens to burst out in virtual laughter.
Netizens who saw the picture posted comments like: “His popularity reaches the sky. I’m going to look forward to his next parody” and “How is he so cute”.
Personally, I got a shock when I saw this posted on-line 😉 ! What do you guys/gals think ?!!

Everyone should chill out, he mean no harm.
Although his version of RDR is damn good, the Rocker Taeng RDR rock version in Osaka trumps it.
In all my time as an internet junkie, I’m afraid that this post has, miraculously enough, touched a raw nerve in terms of disturbing content. Hilarious, but otherwise disturbing.
The level of disquietude I experienced here is almost in the same league with that one picture I stumbled upon unintentionally. The more I think about it, the scarier it becomes.

Disturbing image, but his rock version of Run Devil Run wasn’t bad. I still think he’s better off not putting the girls image onto himself.. but hey, artists are artists, they do whatever they want as long as there are fans supporting them.. so if you don’t like it, like I don’t, then you should blame the fans that support him on distorting the SNSD photo image…. *shrug*
Maybe some of us Sones should not be offended by this..
Just think about what the girls would do, they wouldn’t be offended by these kind of things,
they would just probably positively giggle oh-so-cute while clapping to this stuff..
As the girls’ fans, I think we should stay positive as they are..
Soshi’s positive energy should be enough to bring positivity to us all!!
And our positivity would reflect to how good and respectable we are as Sones..
Thus, indirectly giving good image to the girls too!!

Totally agree, the girls know this is a parody and would just laugh it off. Singer Yoon Dohyun meant no harm and defamation to the girls with this poster.

Anyway, maro’s comment pretty much gave me more insight on how the positivity of SNSD works in affecting everyone.
Pardon me for repeating the same content, but let me get this straight: when they’re happy, we’re happy, they’re happy we’re happy too. And when others see our happiness, it reflects on SNSD’s and our good behaviour, thus it paints us and SNSD in a positive light through somewhat indirect actions of love and sunshines with both parties.
A reciprocating action? I guess that’s one way to put it.
Either way, I’ve shrugged off the state of uneasiness after reading the comment.

Thanks for all the positivity, guys/gals 😀 ! Yeah, well, like Terrez, I too felt a little “off” when I first saw the image ;). After awhile, though, and after listening to his rendition of RDR in the posted MV above, I have began to think that perhaps he did that as a really overt tribute to the universal appeal of our 9 ladies :D.
