You ever wonder about the leg length difference between 2 of our favourite ladies 😉 ?

Fact: SooYoung is the tallest member in the group and Taeyeon is one of the shortest (the claim to shortness being disputable between herself and Sunny :D)

Well, according to some netizens, the obvious difference in height can be easily explained by one fact: the difference in the length of their legs. Recent photographs on the Web showing the 2 ladies sitting in a similar posture on the same chair have sparked a “healthy” discussion on how the differences in their legs have contributed to the discrepancy in their heights.

Some netizens also pointed out the fact that the photo of SooYoung does not even include her entire right leg, sparking concern that our dear Taengoo will feel a sense of embarassment for being a shorty.

Sooyoung’s extremely long legs have been a well-known fact for quite some time. In fact,on a “Radio Star” segment on MBC’s “Golden Fishery” in February of 2009, Sooyoung even introduced herself by saying, “I’m in charge of leg length in Girls’ Generation.”

Fans’ on-line responses to the debate varied greatly. Comments like:
“It’s not that Taeyeon’s legs are short, but that Sooyoung’s legs are really long”, “Sooyoung gives off a mature feel”, “Although Taeyeon’s legs are shorter than Sooyoung’s, it’s okay, because she’s good at singing and because she’s cute.”

Personally, I think Taeyeon sort of enjoys being a danshin as she gets to stand-out more when she is positioned between 2 of SNSD’s jangshins.

(As for myself, I think she has an awesome singing voice and is extremely cute and adorkable :D. Who really cares if she is a little below average in height ?!! Not me ! )
