In honor of the little leader’s upcoming birthday on March 9th, this first one will mark the beginning of some loving birthday posts for the shawty!

3 years and 3 months. That’s how much time Taeyeon spent in training, preparing herself to become a singer. 3 years and 6 months, that’s how long she’s been the leader of SNSD. But these numbers…just simply don’t cut it if we had to describe just exactly who and what Kim Taeyeon is to SNSD.

A best friend:

Her friendship with the girls is obvious and undeniable. She’s never let the fact that she was the “leader” get in the way of her friendship/relationship with the girls. She leads the girls’ daily talk with one another, making sure everyone gets their thoughts out whether it was good or bad. She makes sure everyone wakes up on time. She does everything to keep the girls moving. She keeps the girls united.

The resident shorty:

There’s a few ways to look at your disadvantaged height. You can:
1. Complain all day
2. Use it to your advantage

Taeyeon obviously chose option 2. She’s admitted herself she likes to stand between the taller members so that she attracts a little more attention due to the obvious height difference. Smart much?

And who said little people can’t be heard? She’s got one of the craziest vocals out of everyone!

I have to say, it requires major talent to play the many roles in the group apart from being leader. 😉 Hope you all enjoyed the first little post dedicated to this beauty, look forward to the next one!
