After a successful ‘SM Town Live in Tokyo’ concert, on the 25th and 26th of this month at the National Yoyogi Stadium, SM artistes will hold yet another concert in Japan, this time at the Tokyo Dome.
Those who unfortunately missed out on obtaining tickets for SM Town Live, will be pleased to know that with a seating capacity of over 50,000, the Tokyo Dome will offer fans a greater chance of seeing their favorite SM artistes perform live. Additionally, the venue will also provide SM artists such as TVXQ, BoA, Super Junior, SHINee, f(x) and of course, SNSD, the satisfaction of performing to crowds reaching Super Bowl level proportions.
The concert will take place on the 9th and 10th of April, and tickets will cost 12,800 Yen (approx. 156 USD). Once again, availability of tickets is through application via tickebo.
Even with the huge seating capacity, it is probably best to get in quick to avoid something like this!

Fun Fact: Mariah Carey and the late Michael Jackson have also performed at the Tokyo Dome.
The cheers ❤
Wonder y they call it the big egg? Because it looks like an egg…..haha….
wow….gaps have double combo present……
I wish I could go there too…..!!!!!
SNSD, fighting!^^
They officially call it “The Big Egg” but I think it resembles a manual citrus juicer.
I wonder if they open the application to foreigners?

People’s been asking Sm artist to come to various nation countries and Japan just got 2 in a short period of time! the prices are expensive but hell, you’ll get to see all of them! especially the wonderful girls. HOW LUCKY CAN JAPAN SONES GET !
and it’s in Tokyo dome too. The atmosphere is going to be electric.
Tokyo Dome…next stop, the Nippon Budokan for our girls ^_^
need to correct something….
that’s not TVXQ 4th live tour stage…
it’s JYJ thanksgiving live….
Thanks. I’ll fix that 🙂
i SOOOOO want to go thereeee >< so jealous. but have fun SONEs!! and remember to show the PINK OCEAN
Truth be told, I’m contented with the videos’ about SNSD put on on various video or media sites.
But damn, a seating capacity of over 50,000? I don’t think even 100,000 would cut it for the gargantuan amount of J-SONEs’ out there. I’m just sayin’.
On another note, could someone enlighten me to the significance of the Super Bowl in explicit detail? Since I’m too lazy to google it.
Well, you’re right that 100,000 seats won’t cut it, but it won’t be because of the “gargantuan amount of J-SONEs”, because SNSD isn’t the biggest draw for SMTown in Japan, the fact is Japan is still TVXQ-land. Don’t be mistaken that all 400,000 applicants for the first two SMTown concerts are J-SONEs, a majority of them are BigEast/Cassies, and a lot of J-ELFs and BoA fans as well, SNSD is relatively new and their fanbase is small in comparison. I listened to the audio recording of the concert and I can tell by the crowd’s reaction when each artist came out.
I bet the second round of ticket lottery is going to be even more fierce. TVXQ has the ability to sell out the entire Tokyo Dome by themselves, so imagine all of BigEast, all the J-ELFs, J-SONEs, Jumping BoAs, J-Shawols all fighting for tickets. That’s how you get the tickets to bid up to 10x the face value.
Well, you’re right about me being mistaken. I wasn’t paying attention that it’s SMTown, not ITNW.
I wonder if there’s a superlative for the word “Enormous”, “Gargantuan” or anything synonymous.
I’m a little insular and lacking in knowledge since it’s much like a foray in K-Pop for me (Less than a year), but thanks for the information.
I’m sorely tempted to try my luck by applying on-line 😉 ! However, the issue remains whether they will allow foreigners to bid for the right to buy tickets for the concert 😀 . Ah well, like Terrez, I’ll just be satisfied with teh fancams posted here on the SNSDKorean blog site :). Just wish that SME will consider organizing a similiar event here in Singapore ;).
Just because I’m not climbing the walls doesn’t mean I’m not excited.
I think we’ll have to take that valid assumption with a pinch a salt.
Even if it takes a year or two, as least we’ll have other things to do in life to keep us occupied.
Oh well.
@ Terrez
Good point there 😉 ; life goes on and yes, if we’re patient, eventually the girls will come to our sunny Singaporean shores for a concert performance 😀 !!!
