Earlier today, the girls attended the “Daum Life On Awards 2010”, organized by Daum Communications and held at the Grand Hall of El Tower in Yangjae-dong in Seocho-gu, Seoul. At the awards, they performed ‘Oh!’ and ‘Hoot’ and when they went home, they brought another award with them. Can you guess what award they brought home with them?
According to Fanwonder, there were 22 categories of awards (including ‘Cafe’, ‘Blog’, ‘View’) and 28 winners in total. Netizens selected SNSD’s ‘Oh!’ as the ‘Music Video of The Year Award’! Congrats to the girls :]
Even though an official broadcast version hasn’t been uploaded yet, a fancam as well as pictures of the girls at the event have surfaced. “Check it out” (as Taeyeon would say)!

i love fany’s hair…its not so dark, it has that right mahogany touch to it :). some quick updates: jessica was spotted watching the musical “three muskeeters,” and the girls are set to perform at korean music wave in bangkok this march 12.

btw: some awesome news, the girls were mentioned in Financial Times (U.K. news magazine) as korean’s hidden gems…along with W&Whale/Winterplay. legendary japanese guitarists Tak Matsumoto (B’z) who is Grammy Award nominated praise SNSD as the best idol of today.
here’s the excerpts:
“Recently, columnist Tyler Brûlé wrote a feature listing ten of Korea’s hidden jewels for UK’s ‘Financial Times‘. Titled “The secrets of my brilliant Korea”, the article drew the best from various categories, ranging from food to music.
The author believes that Korea’s musicians have a lot to offer to the world, as he listed three in his list alone. Ranking simultaneously at #2 are the jazz quartet Winterplay and electronic group, W&Whale. Brûlé praised, “If you add anything to your playlist this year, track down the melodic, dreamy and gently poppy tunes of these two Korean acts.”
Idol group SNSD also ranked on the list, landing on the #7 spot. The author wrote, “Girls Generation: speaking of K-Pop, it’s worth losing a few minutes on YouTube watching this ensemble of leggy girls belting out their hit single “Run Devil Run”.
