SNSD has swooped in for their fifth win today on KBS Music Banks’ Chart. The girls were up against the beautiful Baek Ji Young today. Unfortunately, there were no performances by the girls since they are out of the country.

The true power of SNSD’s popularity is evident once again. No artist/group in 2010 has been able to string together a streak of more than three K-Chart wins, and the girls had TWO five-win streaks with Oh! and Hoot. Any group would be happy to have three K-Chart wins, with many more still vying for their careers’ first, yet the girls have THIRTEEN this year. I think they’ve made winning look a little too easy and really spoiled us SONEs as we cheered on. The 13 wins is a record for them, as they beat their 2009 tally of 12. Great job and congratulations!
