The picture of Gee (Japanese ver.) single cover is revealed! SM Entertainment Japan website has updated the girls’ page with the picture below.
Sooooo cute! Or should I say… kawaii! What do you think about this pink, preppy Gee? The original Gee is famous for its t-shirt and skinny jeans concept, and I love it… but these bow-ties and suspenders are even better, in my opinion. :]

So, looks like this picture of Nerd!Yul was taken from Japanese Gee photoshoot… or better yet, from the upcoming Japanese Gee PV behind-the-scene! ^^
Is it just me or the Japanese Gee is like a mixture of Himnae (Way to Go) school girl concept and the girls’ 1st album photoshoot? For the latter, I think it’s the pants haha. Even though the new pics are small, but compared to the pic below… dude, these adorable girls really have grown up into stunning ladies!

I take my hat off to the stylists, even though I am a loyalist to the original Genie and Gee Korean songs, in terms of concept and style, the Japanese version outdid the original. For both songs the style seem more refined, it’s not more sophisticated than the original, but rather more fine-tuned to emphasize the cute image rather than the cool image, which I’m sure works wonders in the Japanese market. And ohhh the legs, they swapped jeans for skirts/shorts, Japan couldn’t get enough of the legs.

i’m really excited i cant wait for the pv to comeout. i think yuri is mostly in the middle because she is sexier than the other girls. when i think woman i think her. and their concept is more mature in japan so it makes sense why she is in the middle
