Anyway so how does this relate to SNSD? Rumor has it that YulTi went on a movie date late night Friday at the Apgujeong CGV (?) to watch Christopher Nolan’s latest production according to Yurui’s twitter (follow her here!). Hehehe YulTi love action ❤

No offense, but a majority of your posts for this site seem to be mainly about YulTi…I don’t mind, I like YulTi but it would be nice to see you broaden the news you share. Even with every SNSD related post you make, you have to throw in some snide YulTi remark. If I wanted to read about YulTi, JeTi, YoonYul and etc., I would go to their respective pairing thread. It’s alright to post Music Core clips but if you’re going to report news, it’s unprofessional to post YulTi with every SNSD “news” you share. I guess at the end of the day, this truly is just a blog that relays “news” that has already been posted on soompi (silis), twitter, and etc. instead of obtaining actual news from legit sources.
If you’ve followed this place long enough, you’d know that since the very beginning sLaVe and I both like to throw in fun tidbits of our fave pairing. Hers being jeti, mine being yulti. its just our way of making this place more enjoyable since so many out there share the same liking of the pairing as us. And I don’t think I’ve used yulti in every single post I’ve made. I know that for a fact. If you’re so against it, next time you see Boss Lady don’t read it. What fun would a snsd site be if we had a stick up our a** and wrote only news without the fun fan spazzing side of things? If you want that, then this isn’t the place for you.
And we’re not the only site out there that “relays” news, there are plenty of other sites out there that claim themselves as professionals but really just use translations done by forums out there. We’re just sharing the news with fans that don’t know how to obtain their information.
Professional is something that we both try and try not to be.
Sure, we ‘relay’ news from those sources, but what’s wrong with that? We credit them, put things into sentences, and spazz about things. Soshified has the directly translated news from ‘legit sources’, but that’s not what we do. The writing here has always contained personal commentary, sometimes with pairing biases, and will continue to be that way. I’m not sure what you meant when you said ‘actual’ news, but if that means only being limited to posting things that were in Korean articles, and not videos by sinchan or other randoms, then it’s unfortunate that our definitions don’t match. Besides, nowhere does it say we are just a news site. The title is So Nyuh Shi Dae Fansite and the tagline is Here to Serve your Soshi Addiction. I think what we’ve been doing matches those 2 perfectly, irregardless of what one would define ‘news’ to be.
We’re on wordpress – so we’re definitely a blog, but we’re also doing what we love to do. We put time into our writing, despite some short posts here and there. It’s not like we’re farming our readers for ad revenue like some big kpop site or something. And despite the number of comments you may see on each article, we do hit close to a million page views each month; which is quite good, considering that ‘at the end of the day, we’re just a blog’. Obviously there’s something here that people are attracted to, but I personally couldn’t tell you what that would be because I have no idea myself. Either way, we will keep doing what we’ve been doing for the past two and a half years.
But srsly tho, as much as I love Yulti.. SooSun is where it’s at. Yes, SooSun I tell you!

But seriously, go to other sources if you just want information straight up. If we followed all these other ‘professional’ sites, we would be just the same sheep flocking to the same barn. We try to have fun ourselves by being entertaining at the same time as putting some effort into what we do. It’s a fansite, not a news blog, we try to cover all spectrum’s of news but that shouldn’t limit us to try and break out of the “pro” routine as you are so familiar with. We put in so much effort in by actually using sources and putting it into our own words if we can and along the road we try to have fun, which is partly why we enjoy doing it so much.
Really? the staff are ONLY supposed to relay news or else they’re professional?
Let’s compare this to Starcraft. A good deal of SoShi fans are Starcraft fans.
Think about the English commentators. They all have an obsession, a personal meme which if said out loud, their name comes to mind. Tasteless will constantly bring up the Panda Bear Guy, and Artosis will always bring up his hatred for mechs. Every english commentator has something they obsess about, and constantly bring it up on air in front of thousands and millions of people. And hey, you know what? They get paid to do this stuff.
The staff here on the other hand, are doing this for your pleasure. Boss Lady likes her YulTi, and when you see YulTi, you’ll always think of her. Don’t criticize her, you simply don’t have the right. The staff here work hard and get what they can done, and they don’t need someone like you telling them what’s “professional” or not.
It is really funny how people think adding “no offence” at the start of whatever they are going to say automatically takes away the offensive factor.
It’s definitely something out of the box and different from those usual kind of movies. 🙂
I just caught a midnight show of this movie, and this movie is AWESOME!!! It’s complicated as well as emotional, good actions and logical story. It’s definitely must-watch

Keep this website going! It’s been awesome having a site that updates a lot on the news about the girls. This is one of my favourite SNSD related sites. To be honest, I usually visit this website even more than ssf. =/

PLEASE continue writing articles in the fun way that you’ve always been. Whether it be throwing in your own witty comments or spazzing about the girls and their pairings. I love it when you guys add your own mark on the articles that you post. It stops this blog from being just another news site… I also visit this blog more than i visit the ssf news section. (actually, i check it the moment i get an email update) Although sometimes news get repeated (which is inevitable since i visit other sites like ssf), i don’t mind at all. If i see the same article which i already read on this site on another, i don’t read again. BUT, if i see an article on another site, and then see it on this site, i actually read the article again. Cause i enjoy reading the articles posted by you staffers here, exactly because of the extra comments that you guys throw in.
My all time favorite posts on this site are not “news relayed from other sources” but the fun soshi extras like birthday posts, and sinchan videos. ^_^ You guys DEFINITELY fulfill the phrase “here to serve your soshi addiction”
