Gasp! What is this? ‘Tis a list! A list of what? I think you know what.
Our merry friends over at dkpnews (okay, so I don’t really know them) have put together the latest list of member counts at the individual fangroups on Cafe Daum, a massive site where all the Korean pop lovers go. As always, SNSD’s fanbase continues to grow even though they are not currently active, and are really the only popular group to do so recently.
Of course this isn’t really an accurate presentation of SNSD’s fanbase but still, it’s awesome. S♡NE is probably one of the most active fanbases out there.
SNSD is the bomb. ^_______^

dkp comes out with a new list every few weeks/months. And in terms of overall fan-base, members on cistus are increasing, members on hwasu are decreasing so it’s hard to tell. This is just a list of members on Cafe Daum.
Erh…. i thought this list was quite long ago…. According the lastest one, SNSD is currently having the 2nd biggest fangroup in Korea, follow up by Big Bang (Correct me if I’m wrong, cuz I believe there is 1 chart so on allkpop)

Oh! Sorry, i just check my information again, yea, really SNSD is currently 3rd place. However, our girls are the only 1 in top 5 that currently inactive and yet our fanbase still increase. Isn’t that amazing.

SNSD’s fanbase seems to be the only one growing these few months for those in the top 10
however, it will be awhile till they catch up with their sunbaes DBSK (I wonder if they still get along)
anyways, I’m sure that SNSD will get more fans in the future and this list is just ‘official fans’, i bet there are still tens of thousands of fans around the world. Now that I think about it, I wonder what SONES are going to be called in Japan since DBSK’s japanese fans are ‘BIGEAST’ not Cassiopeia…
Not exactly “official fans”, more like “fans who are obsessed enough to use an snsd forum”. SNSD’s officiall fanclub registration opened just recently actually, but I’m not sure on the numbers.
And I’m sure SNSD and the dong bang boys do get along. But you raise a good question with the fanclub name.
This is a side note but i noticed that wonder girls only lost 1 member xD

SNSD is amazing but why is BoA’s fanclub not here? BoA has more fans than SNSD so shes 3 and SNSD 4
Group’s will tend to have more fans than solo acts. Note that Rain, Lee Hyori, BoA aren’t in the top 20. They are generally more well known amongst general public than groups though. Jumping BoA is larger in Japan though.

and it looks like SNSD’s extracurricular activities along with their uber popular songs on youtube (Gee and Oh at 19 and 16 million views) are keeping their fans excited! along with this AWESOME site to keep us updated on our girls 😀
