A friend linked me to bunch of interesting threads on Soshified. The threads starter, chikopae, made a deep analysis about how each SNSD members means for the group, and how the group means for each one of them. These posts are very well-written, and long — but definitely worth to read. So I thought I’ll link the threads here for you guys to read (:
So far he only made those of Jessica, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, and Seohyun. Oh, there’s a lil bit about Taeyeon and her leadership issue (the infamous ‘Strong Heart’ statement) too.

I read them on Soshi today and I agree, these are very well written posts about our girls. His/her Tiffany post was especially good. Although I did disagree a bit with some parts of Jessica, they did manage to convince me to see it from their pov. I’m really looking forward to the analysis of the rest of the members, especially Soo/Sun since I’m a bit biased. XD
They were definitely worth the read, and really makes you appreciate the girls even more. ❤
I enjoyed Seohyun’s and Tiffany’s write up best, he really looks at it from a detached (well as much as one can) point of view and tries to explain every piece that fits into this puzzle of 9. I can’t wait to read the others.
i’ve only read seohyun’s few days ago and im surprised at how spot-on this person is..definitely going to check out the other members. and there’s some new taeyeon stuff going on right now, ohmygod im not at peace

I enjoyed his post about Hyo the most, particularly the line, “she’s a DANCER and she’s waving lollipops”. Really an excellent juxtaposition.
I pretty much agree to what the author had to say about Hyoyeon. Eventhough she is unable to showcase her talent due to lack of opportunity, Hyoyeon has otherwise developed herself into a pillar of strength for the girls and this makes her just as important as any of the girls albeit the lack of spotlight. Having to conform to the limits of a pop idol girl group, there are not much output for Hyoyeon to unleash her dancing prowess, and thus she took on a different role and integrated herself into the group.
After reading all the articles, my heart felt so warm. Those are the things most of the people would have in their mind but couldn’t articulate it as well as the author does. Looking forward for the articles of the rest of the girls, hope to read it soon.
hyoyeon’s thread is the best.. i have read not just the article that was written but also every single post in that thread,.. and mind you people, it’s not a joke, it’s not a thread that’s just for fun and fandom… it’s really something that must be read with your eyes wide-open and 100% attention… i hope that all sones will read hyo’s (i really am hoping even though the chance of this thing happening is thinner than a piece of hair)..

Of them all, I’m not satisfied with my post on Jessica, because she’s so hard to get a feel for. Once that thread ages, and I learn more as well, I’ll take another crack at it. I don’t think it does her full justice.
I did just put up my thoughts on Sunny.
My 2 cents for the girls. They deserve all our understanding.
i thoroughly enjoyed reading these. thank you so much for sharing your opinion! i like fans who can WRITE their feelings out… and not just bombard to screen with emoticons and drawn-out yelps (i.e. kkkyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaaa!)
Totally impressed by his posts. Touches everybody down to the heart. Imagine the time he spent on analyzing the girls with dispersed information. Very much appreciated. Support all the way.
