Let’s recap some rumors to get an idea of girls’ upcoming activity
– 2nd Album rumors
First there was a rumor of release in early November. Girls themselves said several times that it’s coming “soon”. Then there was a rumor of a delay. Then the latest one is that the 2nd album won’t be released this year. On Chinchin Taeyeon said something interesting couple days after that rumor: “… pretty soon, we’ll be getting some (unexpected) time off…”
The rumor that choreography practice has started, and that jacket cover was already shot could be true since that is independent of the release date. And again Taeyeon mentioned of finishing mysterious photoshoots on Chinchin.
Also there’s rumor that there will be more non-SM and foreign composers this time. On Chinchin Tae said they are experimenting with more variety of genres this time.– SNSD Concert
Basically the rumor is that SM’s plan is to have one after the 2nd album activity. So if the rumors are true the concert wont happen until early spring next year.– Overseas activity
Japan is being rumored, it also relates to the Japan photobook rumor, with the Japan trip also intended to prepare for Japanese promotional goods. The rumor says overseas activity will begin after the SNSD concert and won’t be a full migration like csjh, dbsk. But were the girls really in Japan earlier this week? Nothing’s been confirmed. There just have been some unconfirmed sightings in Tokyo but no pics, and the girls did seem to be missing those days (e.g. Chinchin was all prerecorded for those days)– Others
Yuri’s drama rumor, the remake of Dragon Zakura, playing a significant role, shooting from Nov to Feb. However even the rumor says she is in negotiation and casting is not finalized yet. As for Yoona SM supposedly has halted her acting activities until next year. Then there’s that rumor of an interesting snsd item to be sold, something to turn fans into kids. It is something never done with Korean girl idols before. Some say cards? And there are several rumors of some more CFs. Rumor of MBC reviving their end of year Daesang show, maybe other stations too – it’s a rumor but I think the stations are certainly considering it since girl groups gave them mucho ratings boost this year. If true people can ditch that good-for-nothing mnet award show whatever it’s calledThe rumors above are from the supposedly-an-sm-employee leaker or other sources with some credibility. ALSO ALSO. I know above it says Japan wasnt confirmed yet but now it has been. The girls were in Japan for a week or so.

wow… they are going to do a concert (maybe…) but that great that Yuri might showcase her great acting skills. But i hope the 2nd album will be released soon…SNSD FIGHTING!
I highly doubt some of these rumors. Second full length album in November? So close to Eff of Ex’s already confirmed full lenght album?
Concert could happen after the second album, but months after because they’ll have to be practicing their dances and probably practice surprise songs.
Japan? There are way more reasons why they wouldn’t be promoting in that country than why they would be. Wayyyy too many. And like SM Entertainment would ever have them release a photobook the way the Japanese like ’em… I mean, even BoA’s two photobooks, she’s fully clothed in all her pictures XD
It’d be awesome if MBC brought back the Daesang is it’s much more of a credible show than MKMF… Unless MAMA is run differently, but I almost doubt it.

Regarding the release date, if you read it again it says the latest rumour is no release this year, which makes sense.
Taeyeon brought back food from Japan for the Chin Chin staff, so they’ve been over there. And if they’ve gone there for a cover shoot then that’s got to meant future activities in Japan… you don’t need to go abroad to shoot in a studio; so they’ve been doing it outside, and the main reason I can think of for that is to endear themselves to the Japanese market. A successful f(x) in Korea means SNSD can spend a bit more time concentrating elsewhere, too.
Also first time I read that bit about the auction I got my wires crossed and thought they were auctioning Yoona… was already planning to sell my car. Damn.
hehe, auctioning Yoona? I think that would cause too much of a commotion, she is so popular, people would throw themselves at her or faint lol.

And dude! So many people go elsewhere/overseas just for photoshoots. BoA and DBSK have done it.
I seriously think it’s vacation or some modeling thing.
Because think about it, the girl group fad is wearing down in Japan. And for those remaining girl groups with numerous girls in them, their fanbase has lowered and they’d be major competition for SNSD. So one look at a big girl group like SNSD, Japanese fans might not even bother anymore.
DBSK, CSJH, and BoA are already “man the forts” in Japan. And I know SM has tight ties with Avex, but still, I highly doubt it would be smart. I mean, look at CSJH, they’re struggling to have the amount of popularity BoA and DBSK have!
Unless of course, SNSD “takes out” some of those major girl groups and go into Japan with a sure fire hit… Like I don’t know, having a duet with DBSK!
Plus, as “cutsy” as SNSD is with their singles that they release, it’s not the same kind of cutsy Japan is looking for.
If only SNSD didn’t start off with such a bad pitch in China, they would have done really well there. Then again, Super Junior’s already there and they don’t need the comparison.

Hmmm…i’m really hoping for the year-end Daesang. It would give our girls a chance to do something special and extravaganza. ^_^
I would love to see the girls go abroad to promote their album but at the sametime, i was hoping they’d spend another year in Korea. The girls did come a LONG way in 2 years and those 731days were jam packed with talk shows, events, CFs…you name, they’ve done it. But maybe…just MAYBE… 1 more year would ‘cement’ their status in Korea. Plus (me being selfish here)…i don’t really fancy hearing ‘slangs’ in Nihongo. *Main reason i’m not listening to Big Bang’s jap album right now. lols*
As for the other rumours, well…i hope the girls can enjoy more time off to rest/practice/try diff variety shows and such before going full-blast again into album promotions. i hate seeing them so worn-out especially during the Genie promos.
Then again, i wonder what concept they’ll surprise us with this time around?? ^_^

Wow, I get excited just thinking about half this stuff.
I would like it if they stayed in Korea a little longer though.
If they stayed, and released another album, they really would take the top as Korea’s top girl-group.
And unit, I don’t wanna see a unit. One-time solo things and stuff are alright, but I happen to be a firm believer in “nine or nothing.” o_o
Anyways, whatever they do, I’ll support them all the way. =D

and second album november i dont hope it happens cuz itll be hard to be ranked number one yu noe with SS501 new album shinee and Ivy too much competion they’ve already released chocolate love and that toook sixth as highest rank.
But what ever happens i uope they do over seas concerts at least in USA
japan photobooks.. im pretty sure sm wont let em do the same concept but hahah yeah. XD Dragon Zakura, a very delightful drama to awtch. i thought it was gonna be dull but watched it anyway for yamapi haha. but i didn’t expect it to be so deep. i hope yuri would accept the offer(if it’s true)
