Couldn’t help but share this after I stumbled across it on some Korean forum. Let’s just say you know you’ve made it big when people are willing to make custom action figures in your liking. Don’t believe me? Pictures tell a 1000 words, so I’ll let these do the talking (That, and my Korean’s pretty poor, so I’m pretty much lost in translation here)

All I can say is the quality is actually pretty awesome, and it does capture her figure and likeness for sure. I wish I had more info to provide regarding availablity, color scheme, price, and whether or not other models of the rest of the girls will be available, but if somebody here can translate the article, or send it over to the folks at soshified who are willing to translate the article itself, we all win.

I def agree with you on that statement, you know youve made it big if you got figurines made of you. Damn.
Really nicely made, even the wrinkles in the shorts, the way the body is curved and crinkles the clothes, they even put in the creases. Awesome work, if only I was that talented with my hands.

this reminded me of all my anime figurines i used to collect and are now stashed in my closet to be burned in the near future
lol this thing’s so detailed.. crazy ass krns… nothing they can’t do =p
but somehow i doubt its krn. figurines = jap’s way around things. in which case, whoever made this need to get a life o.o
^ Whoever made this, life or not, made something that can give others *coughmyselfcough* life.
Also, I don’t actually think the maker is Japanese. Indeed, the quality isn’t bad, but from what I’ve seen from Japanese figurines, the quality is even higher. The facial features and hair would look more intricately detailed I think. Or at least a more accurate copy of the real deal. I doubt the eyes could be replicated, so yeah they’d probably use anime eyes, but different from the ones used on the figurine shown above.
It doesn’t have moving parts, as far as I’m aware, so I don’t think I’d buy it. Also, not bothered to paint it myself. Besides, I’d rage if I made a slip-up.

Hi, I am the maker of that figure. I’m korean and 38 years old ordinary sallary man. That figure is actually not “action” figure, but just character figure made of resin and epoxy putty. Making figure is one of my hobbies. I do not have plan to sell this figure because I have made it for just fun.
