SMTOWN’s official YouTube channel just uploaded the video for the Love&Girls flashmob at Universal Studios Japan, which 4000 Shoujo Jidai fans participated in. It’s impossible not to smile watching it; everybody is having a great time and there’s a super positive vibe from the crowd. It really gives you the feeling, “Ahh…it really is fun to be an SNSD fan.”

SNSD recently flew to Singapore to attend the Asia Style Collection, where they were invited to perform alongside several Asian pop-stars including fellow j-poppers AKB48 and k-poppers 2NE1. Singaporeans have recently been suffering from dangerous levels of smog caused by fires in neighbouring Indonesia. Thankfully, the haze lifted a little bit during SNSD’s visit (or because of SNSD’s visit!? …#goddesspowers) and the girls (minus one Choi Shikshin) pulled off a fun show despite the bad air.

Deciding that social networking sites popular with other k-pop stars such as Instagram and Twitter are far too mainstream and therefore not cool enough for her, Jessica recently created an account on Sina Weibo, a popular Chinese micro-blogging site. Seohyun and Kyuhyun who are both models for SK Telecom (along with Yoona and f(x)’s Sulli), recently recorded the “T’ple Couple Song” together for advertising purposes. SK Telecom uploaded the following video to their youtube channel, in which Seohyun and Kyuhyun both look mighty fine and adorable. Congratulations SeoKyu shippers?

Remember when the Love&Girls music video came out and SNSD were in a boat yard with 1000 fans doing the “Shampoo Dance” where they act like they’re in a shower? The girls recently had a Love&Girls flashmob event in Japan for Universal Studios Japan where there was fans, dancing, and a literal shower.
The girls were hit with some unfortunate weather during the event, the skies deigning to open up and pour some rain, but like the true professionals they are it didn’t deter them or the fans one bit. It was a fun (albeit chaotic) event, everybody had a good time, and omg look at Jessica just refusing to get wet. The rain cannot touch Jesusca Jung.

M.Net’s new dance survivial show “Dancing 9” (which was previously promoted by SNSD in the above video) is set to start on June 20th. Alongside a myriad of well known dancers, SNSD’s own Hyoyeon and Yuri are to appear as dance coaches as “K-pop Dance Masters”.
To show the world why they are “K-pop Dance Masters”, the two recently took to their instagrams to show off pictures taken of Hyoyeon, Yuri and Yoona attempting some truly impressive dance moves that the public has never before seen from SNSD. Continue reading

So just a couple days ago Sunny tried to sneak out “The 2nd Drawer“ thinking that we wouldn’t notice, and tonight Jessica also pulled a sneaky, surprising SONEs when her voice popped up during an episode of Cyrano: Dating Agency. Are surprise OSTs the new trend, SoShi!? We need to prepare out hearts before receiving heaven sent gifts…

Shoujo Jidai’s LOVE&GIRLS single recently hit shelves (everybody go buy it [x][x]), with the regular edition of the release including the B-side track “Lingua Franca“. Lingua Franca is a term to describe a language that can be used for communication between people who do not have the same mother-tongue. Eg, SNSD and us international fans. Think, “unifying language” or “universal language”.
It’s a fresh, mid-tempo, sweet-on-the-ears pop track and is absolutely lovely.
