(updated with full song)
Shoujo Jidai’s LOVE&GIRLS single recently hit shelves (everybody go buy it [x][x]), with the regular edition of the release including the B-side track “Lingua Franca“. Lingua Franca is a term to describe a language that can be used for communication between people who do not have the same mother-tongue. Eg, SNSD and us international fans. Think, “unifying language” or “universal language”.
It’s a fresh, mid-tempo, sweet-on-the-ears pop track and is absolutely lovely.

what a lovely song..
it’s suit my taste more than “Love & Girls”…
hehehe…
still wait my shipping..
Reblogged this on mayangkoto.
I like it. It’s not overly cute, it’s not quite a ballad, it’s not a radical experiment like “IGAB”. It’s something else, and in a good way. 🙂
It ends a bit abruptly, though… 😦
Yes it does end a bit soon, that’s why the Loop button was invented.
after search the translate of this song lyric, i think the meaning of “Lingua Franca” based on this song is “Unspoken Language” (precisely word) which mean the girls want to express her feeling trough the words, but there are no words can describe what they feel at that time..
that’s my opinion based on the lyric CMIIW..
