On February 12th, our girls held their last concert stop of their 2nd Asia Tour in Bangkok at the IMPACT Arena. A total of 11,000 fans packed the arena to enjoy the show of 32 songs plus each members solo acts.
As we know, SONEs are quite an enthusiastic bunch, again creating the pink ocean. During the performance of “Complete” T-SONEs also held up “FINALLY, WE MEET” papers and threw paper air planes! Just another indication of how dedicated SONEs are in general and how much we love our girls! I’d really love to see that pink ocean in person one day. Would be totally epic I think.
After the concert, our girls said, “We are happy because we could feel fans’ love and it was a precious moment we’ll never forget. We thank all those who have been with ‘GIRLS’ GENERATION TOUR’ and we will try our best to meet again with better performance.” Awww they are feeling the love! Please have a solo concert here on the West Coast, please please! Hopefully soon!
The overall tour was a huge success. If you include their first Arena Tour (for their debut Japanese album), there were 14 concerts in 6 Japanese cities (Osaka, Saitama, Tokyo, Hiroshima and Fukuoka) and 9 solo concerts in 5 cities (Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok) for their 2nd Asia Tour. The 23 concerts drew a total of 230,000 fans! This number is a record breaker among Korean girl groups! At this point in time, it’s very unusual to hold this many large scale solo concerts for one group. This just shows you the power of SONEs and how popular So Nyuh Shi Dae is worldwide. Global Generation is coming, next stop, the US of A!

but till now,in south east asia they never have their concert in Malaysia and indonesia..are those country still reject or uncapable for SNSD to have their concert there??
i believe they will still reject snsd because of the costumes the girls wear for their tours, especially the “daisy-duke” shorts. thigh-baring outfits are a big deal in these countries, sad to say. unless the girls go through a wardrobe overhaul, there will never be an snsd concert in these countries.
Yeah, I totally agree, especially in Indonesia, where most if the population are REALLY conservative, they would need to change their costume
Wow, I’ve never thought in those terms before and I’m from Malaysia. Guess it didn’t mean much to me but my thoughts don’t matter, its what the authorities think (its because Malaysia is an Islamic country, at least officially). Here in Malaysia stuff like that are a big issue and if I remember correctly, there have been quite a few artists that weren’t able to perform in Malaysia due to those limitations. Well, whatever the case, I will never give up hope that SNSD might perform a concert here in Malaysia and me getting a ticket in 😀
ahhh………..so, that’s the problem. But, we (IndoSONEs) will never lose hope.

costume? my opinion: just a bunch of people who cant hold their libido who use this issue to refuse them (sorry for my language). in indonesia seems like bureaucracy as one of the problem…
i think theres still hesitation from event companies 2 bring snsd here coz here boybands r more popular…but WonGirls have done a concert so i think snsd wouldnt have much a problem, theres lots of SONE here…Talking about costumes, it can be changed/altered 2 respect the sensitivities here, its been done b4.
man i cant wait for snsd to come to australia, wanna see there live performances for other songs other then the ones they did in sydney
