Just spotted these cute UFO replies from our beloved kid leader to SONEs on Soshified and thought I’d share it with the folks on SK :).

Wow! It’s so amazing she writes so many replies! This is random, but I can’t help thinking about that sones letter, the one that passed away, why can’t someone post that letter to that UFO so maybe one of the girls can see it? I’m not familiar with it right now so forgive me if I’m wrong about something. But if it’s possible can’t someone try it? That letter wasn’t really addressed to me but I still cried over it. ( yeah sorry it’s really random)
I don’t understand the concept of UFO. How come people tell her she woke them up? and she ‘s like “I’m sorry I always wake up people in the middle of the night”. Does she like texts her fans or something…?

They sent message to Taeyeon’s UFO. If taeyeon replies, it will goes to their phone. Basically you will receive a SMS update.

What is UFO?
UFO or UFO Town is a website that provides fan mail and SMS services for fans to communicate with their favorite kpop artists. You can send FLY (Fan Letter to You), which means all the fan letters sent through UFO system. You can send both text fly and photo fly to your favorite artist. You can also save what you’ve sent out and you can also save what you’ve received as a reply. You can do that either through your phone or through UFO website. You can send any message to your favorite artist and you might get a reply.
Unfortunately, the website is in Korean, so, it’s hard to understand unless if you are proficient in Korean language. And, from what I have read in several forums, you need a Korean SSN (Social Security No.) to register, so, it’s only for Koreans… T.T.. For international fans like us, I think it’s impossible to register, and also it’s not free either, you need to pay everytime you want to send a messege.
Cloud, thanks for that informative reply. I just want to know how easy is it for an anti to send something nasty to an idol? I’m pretty sure that the idol won’t respond, but I’d still hate to have any idol read or see something that is intentionally hurtful. Most online activities of Koreans are linked somehow to their Korean SSN, right? So it’s easy to “ban” someone who is abusing the messaging system, right?

@ JustaTip, Yes, you are right. Well, antis are crazy, and we can’t stop them. Yup, it’s not easy to access any Korean websites because some web owners would put a strict security system. The best thing is to ignore the messages. Or, if the repeated harassment, maybe we can report to the Security section of the website to ban these people.

@Cloud Sorry Just asking. I was thinking about the Korean ID thing. Is it some thing like an identification number? It is that you have to apply to be a citizen there, then you would have an ID? Is there such thing as second citizen of Korea? If yes, then you will get a number there too?
