With the recent release of Girl’s Generation 1st Asia Tour: Into the New World DVD the girls have managed to take another top spot in Japan.
This time SNSD conquered Japan’s Tower Records Weekly DVD Chart with their release of Girl’s Generation 1st Asia Tour: Into the New World DVD. This 2-Disc DVD and Photobook was only released around 2 weeks ago, and has already managed to capture first place in Japan for “Integrated DVD sales” for all stores. This is an impressive feat considering that the DVD is filled with Korean performances. Even more impressive is the fact that they have taken the top position against competition from Japanese Rock band Grapevine as they have also released a concert DVD, “GRAPEVINE tour 2011” just this past week.

It certainly looks like Japanese fans can’t get enough of the girls, as they are quickly gobbling up these Soshi releases!

The girls are starting to make an impact in many countries not just in Asia… Latin America for example… I was amazed when one morning they started to play RDR and I literally jumped from the couch and started dancing (it’s like a music channel were they play music vids all morning long)

I can understand why the DVD topped the charts so quickly after having just watched the 1st disc in the DVD set. It’s AWESOME (almost like being there 😀 )!!!
