With all that travelling back and forth all over the world (literally), what tangible benefits do you think the angelic 9 have acquired so far ?

Well, how about frequent flyer miles?!!

Korea’s Mnet “WIDE Entertainment News” recently analyzed  the Girls’ Generation’s hectic schedules and delved further into their flight mileage, as well as their travel times.

The girls are often seen at the airport (almost a 2nd home 😉 ?) as they move between countries in Asia and even beyond the continent. The members have even travelled all the way to France for international activities, joining the SMTown family to perform for the “SMTown Live in Paris” concerts.

Prior to their activities in 2011, the girls were already veterans to frequent flying as they had to make appearances in Japan, Taiwan and other countries for concerts and special events.

To their credit, they skillfully navigated around the world amidst their tight schedules, with nary a single complaint arising from their lips :).

It was revealed on the show that during the period of June the 8th to the 18th alone, the members of Girls’ Generation were travelling outside of Korea.

Using the distance of 456km from Seoul to Busan as a gauge, this equates to the girls traveling back and forth for up to 25 times, making their total distance traveled an approximate 25,086km.

Remarkable was the comment made of the 9 ladies busy perfomance schedules, as well as their frequent travelling instances out of the country. At the rate that they are going, the angelic 9 may very soon match, and even exceed, the record 670,000km accumulated by Rain throughout his 8-year singing career.

Perhaps it’s time to cash-in all those air-miles for some goodies 😉 ?!!
