Tiffany may have my vote in almost every situation, but I love all of the ladies equally.
Each member has their own distinct method of appealing to us (whether be it Hyoyeon’s dancing or Taeyeon’s singing), but it’s their “SoshiBond” or unparalleled teamwork as I like to call it, which serves as the one of the main reason(s) for loving them unconditionally, in my opinion.
Gkirk, don’t expect to realize how important the SoshiBond immediate after taking RagingXL’s advice, take your time to accept SNSD as who they are, what has made them to be and kept it that way. You’ll find that it’s much better to be happier in this fashion than to eschew everything else about SNSD for the sake of Sooyoung. Besides, I don’t think she would approve of your one-sided devotion.

i’m not jealous. i just don’t think yoona deserves all the attention she gets, i understand it’s not her fault. i blame the kpop industry. to them, looks are more important than talent. which i can’t comprehend, since yoona is at the bottom of the talent list in snsd. but i guess if yoona gets the attention .. so does snsd?

She’s not the greatest vocalist, and not the worst either. Dance wise she’s only behind Hyoyeon and Yuri, and if you think all nine girls dance the same, then you haven’t watched enough of their videos, there’s a reason they put Yoona in the middle. TBH i have absolutely no problem with yoona in the center. korea loves yoona the most and she boosts SNSD’s popularity. all i’m saying is.. she doesnt deserve it because there are much more talented members. TO ME, talent prevails over beauty… especially since all the 9 girls are beautiful as well. also, i don’t think you can say yoona is easily the best actress because the other girls haven’t had a chance. i guarantee seohyun would make a very good actress probably even better than yoona IMO.. i’ve watched her act on “HMF” and “WGM” she’s really good.

I suppose Yoona was chosen early on in the Girls’ initial foray into the Korean music scene because she was (and still is) an easily recognizable face to the Korean population, due to her appearances in OSTs on TV. After all, the ladies were relatively new then and they had alot to prove to fans and detractors alike ;).
Now that they are popular, Yoona has built up quite a fan base among SONES everywhere ( as has the rest of the 9 ladies), so comparisons are unavoidable :). Perhaps the best solution is just to agree to disagree at this juncture.
After all, you yourself have mentioned that all the ladies are talented in many areas. The important thing is that they are successful as a group and the bond between the 9 sisters is there for all the world to see. We should support all the ladies in their endeavours as a group called Girls’ Generation.
(To be honest, a poll is just a poll and many personal biases and opinions come into play here 😀 !)
You just don’t get it do you? To say that she doesn’t deserve the popularity is like telling fans they have no right to have biases, last I checked the KPop fandom is a free world. Don’t force your opinion on others and say that she has the least talent just because you can’t appreciate or understand her talents, other people can and the girl is clearly very talented in her own ways.
Lastly, do yourself a favor and stop comparing the girls. Rule #1 for a SONE, understand that they’re all unique and bring different talents and values to the table, nobody is at the bottom of the list of anything! (except clearly quantifiable measurements like height and age)

I’m sorry if I came across as being offensive, but I just feel very defensive about any unfair criticism being thrown any particular girl. Just put yourself in the shoes of your favorite SNSD member, do you think she’d be jealous and start criticizing that fact that Yoona is the most popular? If you are a SONE, please watch “Deep Talk with Park Junghoon”, they talked about this very issue. Having an opinion is one thing, but making an accusation like “Yoona is at the bottom of the talent list” sounds like anti-fan behavior. If you look at the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, does any particular piece jump out at you for being “worse” than the other pieces?
It’s natural that one of the member will be more popular than the rest, if it’s not Yoona then it’s another girl, then that girl would instead be receiving these unfair criticisms, why the negativity? Why can’t people just be happy for an SNSD member being recognized? Sigh…
