correct me if im wrong, but she appears to be lipsynching. they managed the audio so it wouldnt be obvious. but when she pull the high note near the end, you can see her draw a breath, when the audio doesnt sound like she did. Great performance by her tho. love taengoo. she’s easily the best performer among the 9 gals. SNSD FTW!!!

For most artistes, big events such as concerts, they don’t really sing live. what they usually do is pre-record them during a live rehearsal or something, then use that track for the actual perf.
The reason for this is because for such large-scale events, there can really be no room for error, so that’s why they do pre-recording. it’s not exactly lip-synching cuz it IS live singing after all.

She lived all other main parts
at least when she looked like using her mic, she was using it.
and that fancam is stitched version of many other fancam pieces. and sound is wrapped with that of first day of encore concert. maybe this sound-overrap is the reason you thought like that.
