It’s really nice, I love the costumes and the choreography is fast. I don’t think it’s as bold as genie, but it’s definitely dark. Sica’s highlights and Yoona’s bangs add to the atmosphere a lot.
I think it was Tiffany who said we won’t be seeing Sooyoung and Yuri that much in this video, and she’s right. I think Taeyeon and Tiffany carried this song, and Seohyun at the end was really strong too.
I still miss the song from the trailer though ^^
Also, Jessica has a great part at 2:08 and the Tiffany hitting her head at 2:20 is so awesome. I think there is JeTi at 3:09 for shippers, but I could be wrong ^^.
I think its actually bolder than genie, since during genie they didnt let go of their ‘cute’ side with the MV. But yeah love the darkness!

I agree that Sooyoung and Yuri weren’t really in the video, Hyoyeon too. I was really sad because Soo is my favorite member. Although she did have as many lines as Taeyeon in “Oh!,” it was weird that she only had a spoken line with Hyoyeon.
But I do like the song alot. I don’t have a computer wih internet so Ive only seen it on my phone, :(. but I’m excited to see the live performance. And I love love love Tiffany in this video!!
oooh i see! lol i think they were just kidding because the girls seem to have their fair share… tho it would be expected some members with a bit more parts since their vocals are better (tae/seobaby/sica)

ahh about the Tiffany comment, believe that was posted at Taeyeon’s bdae bash. Wasnt it meant to be a joke because they were commenting its going to be a dark concept and so we wont be able to “see” the 2 darkest complexion members? lol.

What i like about the MV:
1. I love Gangsta Tae! She’s so bad!! i’m tempted to say “Whip me, baby!!” ……but i digress!
2. Lovely choreo!! There are some awkward moves which i don’t really dig but overall, i’m still gungho on learning the moves!
3. Great solo outfits for all our girls!! The white ones are really NICE….meaning i want it…if i can fit into it! (haha) It takes a special kind of girl to look absolutely gorgeous and sleek in a white leather get-up!! Also, there’s something about a one-sided-bare-shouldered top that i find thoroughly sexy! And those laced-up pants!! nice~~♥
4. moves which i like are “run” (obviously). Tiffany’s “gun-to-head” move @ 2:19 and the “head-flick” @ 2:08-2:09!
5. Vocals are tops for this song. Seobaby showcased some great pipes!
6. Did i mention how much i’m in love with Gangsta Tae??
7. The MV gives-off a James Bond feel to it. I think it’s due to the Yuna-finger-gun pose?? (Haha) And also the sleek light effects.
What i don’t like bout the MV:

I love the song and the music video! The moves are really addicting!!
But something I didn’t like was that something lacked in the video…I don’t say that the girls could have done better, I’m saying that compared to Oh!, this music video had quite a few scenes…I would’ve prefered one more stage, maybe a fusion between the black scene and the white.
I love everything with this concept and can’t stop listen to RDR!

I love Seobaby in the vid sooooo much!! She’s really different from the sweet cute Seo in Oh!….the song is also really catchy and their choreography is soo sexy~~! This will definitely be a hit!!! Yuri looks smoking hot too!!!!!! I love the white leather outfits!!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING BOUT THE MV AND THE SONG!!! and I’ll probably have the chorus stuck in my head for a while now =p

“Catch Me If You Can” dance FTW. Song took getting used to, but all it took was a couple of hours to get me hooked! The video was additional eye candy that only makes the song that much better! Really digging the hair, the “Femme fatale” look, and just the overall concept. It really does reflect a new side to the girls that I am appreciating more and more! Only downside is, as much as I love the clothes, the hoods aren’t working for me… Other than that, gotta run on over and listen to the song again!

I really love this video – the way they shot it has a very film-type feel that I find difficult to describe, but it is amazing. Predictably, the song is growing on me now too.
The funny thing is I don’t really find the choreography sticks out to me in any particular way – it just blends in seamlessly with the setting, and the experience of it is just sort of… Whole? The group seems to blend in with the entire thing in a way that just sort of works.
Seohyun really shines in this video for me. Maybe the concept just takes her further from whence she came than the other members, but now that’s she is older I think she is looking a lot better. She has lost a lot of her meekness here, and it really shows. I don’t think anyone would have bet on this a few years ago, but I think she will go on to have the most enduring career of any of the members. I just think there is a lot more to know about her, she’s intriguing…
Oh, and I like Tiffany with the headshot. Very Persona 3. 😛

Okay, I’ve watched it enough times now to say that I like the MV. I really want to say that I still don’t really like the song like I did before the MV came out, but it’s difficult when I find myself mouthing along with the chorus… Heh.
Taeng was my favourite in this MV, hands down. The choreography is great, but I think the dancing needs to be tighter – can’t wait for the MuBank performance.
Ahhh there’s so much to be said and I’m too busy to say it all! 2:20! Tiffany’s headshot, I almost burst out laughing. “Yo, wassup gangsta!?”
Jessica just belongs there. Honestly, that’s her domain. That said, she doesn’t really stand out, but she fits in with the atmosphere so well that I don’t think she’s meant to anyway.
I can see myself liking this more than TMYWG soon. Just give the song itself some time to grow on me more.

Ok seen it a few times, lets see if I can give my own run down:
Choreography: There are some hand movements and coordination moves that were very impressive, some moves that took alot of fluidity and rhythm as well as coordination to get right. I don’t much like the on the spot run that they do since it looks a bit…weird?….but for the most part, very impressed with the dancing in the MV even though we won’t see a full dance until a live performance.
Costumes: I don’t mind the black hoods. I really don’t. But I can’t decide which to love, the White get-ups that looked the same throughout all nine or the black costumes that all had their little variances from member to member.
Feel: It wasn’t “sexy”. it was “empowering” which brings me to understand why SME said that it was a song for the ladies. As it did show a very strong portion of strength rather than sex appeal.
Most impressive: Taengoo takes this prize as she never fails to impress with her vocal solos and screen time on MV, at one point I didn’t even link the Taeyeon in the MV with the Dorky Taetae I usually see. When she put on the gangsta, BAM! it was pulled off perfectly.
The Natural: Yuri, easy….she’s been selling this image for a long time and just fits the entire description, it was to be honest…a battle between her and Jessica, as Jessica sold an image that was very much like her, but Yuri was in the game much longer and as soon as she popped up, familiarity had set already.
Most surprising: Seohyun, I didn’t think that she could fit as well as everyone, but to be honest, she was hot, full stop. When her part came up, it sort of felt as if there was a split second silence to accommodate her change from seobaby to “I’ma rip your face”
Most disappointing: Now it’s no in terms of singing or performance, as you can’t judge it since it’s an MV (everyon’s blinging perfect on an MV), but rather, screen time, and appearance comes into this, and I must say as a whole, I’m not going to pick on one, rather I noticed that Hyo, Soo and Yoona were noticed by me much less than the others. Though this may be just my biased eyes, so don’t take this category in any account.
My fave? I can’t shy away from my love for Tiffany LOL. Her clips of gangster were awesome and her current style (clothing, hair, make-up, eye shadow, the whole she-bang) is breathtaking.
I’d love to see how well they do this song live, with LIVE voices and choreography and then make a better judgement, but the MV is very impressive. Looks like we have a HUGE hit on our hands
