Wow, that was really easy on the ears. The change from the really upbeat pop versions is pleasant and relaxing. Two thumbs up for Kim Tae Woo!

iunno guy singing kissing you sounds so weiiiiiiiiiiiiird, though actually gee is just as girly but then so many male artists have covered it i’m use to it, but yeah i liked his gee version :D!
Thanks, Roch. The video was terrific. TaeWoo’s a good stylist with a knack for jazz improvisation. (The rapper wasn’t so good, however.)
I particularly liked “Kissing You” with it’s latin rhythm — couldn’t tell if it was a samba or not. TaeWoo’s singing into the microphone came across so clearly I might finally be able to match the sounds with the romanized lyrics.
With “Gee” he turned R&B and became more intense, giving the song a different kind of excitement.
I’m always glad to hear there are some Korean singers who don’t perform with the same arrangement as the original.
BTW, I was surprised at his English at the beginning. It had me wondering if he was American. Then, in “Gee”, his accent became noticable.

Taengoo! sounds great in a more relaxing calm-er rythem and environment, not like it already doesnt great but just easy on the ears! agreed?
wooo….nice!! the arrangment by Tae Woo sounded both easy and intense at the same time! Absolutely awesome! I would definitely rip this and put it on my playlist.

The Gee cover sounded a lot like Younha’s version IMO. But, Kissing You was definitely a keeper. 5 points for Kim Tae Woo! Out of 5, that is.
And oh, I just realised both Kim Tae Yeon and Kim Tae Woo. Similar names eh?

This cover is nice, but I think that Mate’s cover of Kissing You is still the best cover of any SNSD song ever.
