Is it just me or is it every single time we have to take a photo for some important document, ie. passport/license/id/school photo/etc., it ALWAYS turns out like crap. I always look like I’m drunk or deathly sick. D: Then I came across this lovely girl’s passport photo today…WOW. Seriously, she even looks good in a damn passport.

There are two difference here between Yul and us when it comes to taking passport photos. First is the fact that she has a slightly larger than average company organising the photo shoot… I mean taking… And they can put on the makeup. They know wha will work.
Secondly, se’s smiling. You can do that for passport photos now!? They cameraman always tells me not to smile although I think I’m starting to realize why. Not that keeping a straight face is much better. Let’s just say that I’ve had comments saying that I look like a Somalian terrorist.

But I guess you’re above the law if you look as good as she does =P. Damn; even if her legs were to be in place of her face for any government ID I’m sure she’ll get by as well!
Oh I totally thought the no smiling rule was just here in the States, is it like that too elsewhere? 😛 Silly rule, but from what I read, if you smile, it makes it much harder to identify criminals when they do the face scan in their machine. Just a fun factof the day? hahaha

Okay… I love to look at Yuri as much as anyone but surely you realize this is a cheat. It may have been done in the camera — but it seems likely that someone photoshopped the image to look blurry which hides structural flaws as does specially located highlights on the cheeks.
Still… I’ll save the image to my hard drive (pun not intended).
Errr I smiled in my passport. then again this was taken back in 7th or 8th grade so maybe things have changed since then…cuz I so do not look like an Asian chonga anymore….

Well I don’t know if its the same for passports, sorry i shouldve mademyself clearer lolol 😛 But it def is that for licenses now. they use this scan system and if youre smiling, it messes with features and they cant detect if youre the criminal or not.
no smile policy eh? for some reason, about a mere 5% of all the korean passports that i have checked and matched to the passenger when im at work at a local intl airport has a picture of a korean citizen with a smile. they do look a lot better with a smile =P
btw, ive met about 4 different Kim Tae Yeon(s) in the past year. all flying korean air to seoul/inchon. not one of them was related to our girls
