In the recent years, SM has produced/promoted atleast 1 new act a year, who will it be this year? Actually, what I’m wondering more about is if it’s going to be a solo artist or another giant idol group? I really hope its not another girl group -_- but the way its looking.. SM wants to mass produce idol groups? My guess it’s going to be a either a solo female artist or a girl group.. or mix!? Definitely NOT another boy group though since they have DBSK/Shinee/SuperJunior…
I think Zhang Yi Lin must be a lot more talented than I think she is, as she is the ONLY solo artist to be debuted through SM in the past few years… yet I haven’t seen her in the KPop scene OR CPop scene.. hum… anyways below is just a brief time line of SM members’ debut years (info jacked from wiki, hope its -_- reliable enough).

I hope it’ll be a solo artist. there’s too much (girl)groups debuting this year. but according to rumors it will be a girl group though (the one with almost-a-SNSD-member Hwanhee and Krystal?)…

Zhang Li Yin in the past year debuted in China with her first album and released a digital single in Korea. Her song when released in Korea had potential, and did well on Melon Korean online music chart (surprisingly with the 0 promotions that SM did). She also did well in China though I wish SM would promote her a bit better before moving on to another solo artist since all they’ve been focusing on is Suju-M -_-* She’s participated in events with SM Town and I think so far she’s going to be focused in China only…not sure if she’s going to return to the k-pop scene though.
Boa is from SM, isn’t it? there’s still lee junki though I’m not sure if started acting or singing first>_<
