Sunny: They both told us that the weather in Thailand was very hot and that we should wear short-sleeved T shirts. They also told us about the warm hospitality shown by the Thai fans and told us not to worry about our welcome reception at both the airport and the hotel but instead to concentrate on perfecting our performances. Both Super Junior and SHINee are extremely popular in Thailand so we treated them like sunbaenims when asking about Thailand.

The girls from the popular girl group So Nyuh Shi Dae were moved at the amount of support they received from fans at the “Pattaya International Music Festival,” held in Thailand’s Pattaya on March 20~22. The girls said that in the stands they saw many male fans that imitated the choreography to their hit song “Gee”, and wherever they went around 100 fans surrounded the girls. The center of this attention was none other than So Nyuh Shi Dae. MBC’s Come to Play announced at the start that the highlight of the “Girls’ Special” airing would be the “Girls’ Awards 2009”, explaining that the 13 girls would be judged based on five major criteria such as “The girl that is the easiest to handle”, “The most strong-willed girl” and “The girl that worries me the most”. The judge panel consisted of 45 members from 7 of Korea’s representative male idol groups such as Tohoshinki, SS501, Super Junior, Big Bang, FT Island, SHINee and 2PM. The male idols would present their opinions directly through a survey, and they demonstrated the great enthusiasm they had by having the survey forms sent to Japan for Tohoshinki and America for 2PM.

During MBC’s “Come to Play” recording set to air on the 23th, Korea’s 7 representative idol male groups such as Tohoshinki and Big Bang chose Kara’s Gu Hara as the teenage girl they liked deep in their hearts.
