KBS2TV’s ‘Champagne’ variety show, hosted by Shin Dongyup and Shin Bongsun, featured SNSD on the night of the 14th and once again demonstrated the staggering ‘SNSD Effect’.
TNS viewership survey revealed that the ‘Champagne’ episode featuring SNSD received ratings of up to a record 14.1%, a 2.6% increase compared to the previous week’s episode of up to 11.5%.

Girl group SNSD will be teaching their ‘Gee’ dance to Ivy League Harvard Law School students.
SNSD will be meeting Harvard Law School students in their SM Entertainment practice room on the coming 26th. Their meeting was requested by Harvard Law School, who will be visiting Korea on the 23rd.

It has been revealed that SNSD’s member Taeyeon has bought her parents a credit card with her first paycheck.
Taeyeon appeared on MBC ‘Sunday Sunday Night – World Changing Quiz (A.K.A. WCQ), which’ll be aired on the 22nd, and revealed that, “I gave my parents best credit card in Singapore with my first paycheck.” and “In the end, they bought things we needed for the dorm”

MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Cinderella Man’, starring popular Hallyu star Kwon Sangwoo and SNSD’s Yoona, has recently released photos of the drama shoot which drew everyone’s attention.
The photos that were released this time depicted the male drama character Oh Daesan (acted by Kwon Sangwoo) carrying a large backpack at Dongdaemun (East Gate) shopping area with the female drama character Seo Yeojin (acted by Yoona) sitting in her deceased father’s shop looking at her family photos. In the drama, Yeojin brushed shoulders with Daesan at her father’s funeral and the two had another chance meeting at her father’s shop. Daesun helps distressed Yeojin, thus blossoming the start of their relationship.

Yoona has trimmed short her hair which she had kept long since her debut by about 30cm.
The move to cut her hair was to better fit into the role as fashion designer Seo Yeo Jin in the MBC Wednesday-Thursday Drama ‘Cinderella Man’, set to air at the start of April.

So Nyuh Shi Dae’s Taeyeon revealed that she dreamed of becoming a singer after seeing Asian Star, BoA.
Taeyeon appeared as a contestant on KBS ‘1 vs. 100’ on the 17th. When questioned, “Which artist did you look up to as you dreamt of becoming a singer?” by MC Son Bumsoo, she replied, “BoA sunbaenim had a lot of impact on me and my career”.

So Nyuh Shi Dae’s Taeyeon revealed her loneliness after popularity.
Taeyeon appeared on KBS ‘Park Junghoon Show’ on the 8th and stated that “Being a singer is a lonely career”.
“We prepared for years putting all our effort into it, but the actual performance is over in just a few minutes” was Taeyeon’s reason.

Comedian Jung Hyungdon expressed his happiness about his ‘imaginary’ marriage to Taeyeon of So Nyuh Shi Dae.
Hyungdon, who appeared on KBS ‘Star Golden Bell’ on the 7th, attracted all atttention when he stated, “Taeyeon is a lot like my dream wife. She is too good for me. After I met Taeyeon, I’ve become a brighter person”. Hyungdon is currently airing on MBC ‘We Got Married’ with Taeyeon as an ‘imaginary’ wife.
