Ah, well, maybe it will become better after some time.
But I dunno… the video felt more entertaining than the song.
I think Girls’ Generation is one of those K-pop groups who can easily experiment with any concept and execute it flawlessly. This video is one example – amazing in almost all respects (from my perspective, at least). If anything, I think their (SNSD’s) Japanese music videos permit a little bit more creative freedom, which is nice because I think any fan would love to see their favourite groups stick to their roots whilst expanding on their repertoire to cater to different audiences around the globe.
Anyway, awesome MV. Loved the ponytails.

I’m so happy they used so many different singing duos. About time they really took advantage of the power of 9. Great video, great song, hope to see more of them utilizing their numbers. Also, about time they had another dance break in the middle of a song.

I’m really a huge fan of the music SM Japan and UMJ are churning out, I think they have found the ‘perfect’ sound for SNSD not just in the Japanese market but worldwide. I wish SME Korea would take a page from how they do A&R and make decisions on song choice on the Japanese side, because the sophisticated and gritty electronic sound of their Japanese discography is a thing of beauty.
I know many old school GG fans still don’t like the more matured sound and would rather the girls keep doing cutesy bubblegum but I just don’t think that’s the way to go, these girls have grown up and face it, things will have to change, and this should be the sound of their future. I hear some similarities to Mr.Taxi in Paparazzi but that’s not a bad thing at all, and if this is going to be the lead single of their upcoming Japanese album, I’m feeling very reassured.

It’s an incredible piece of work. Great song: quirky, hardcore in some respects I might say. Amazing choreography.
I admit, I didn’t take notice of the ponytails…but thought the girls looked great as always, of course (Sica best, in my current, honest opinion).
The only problem I have when watching a new SNSD MV is I don’t quite know where to look; there’s that many of them; I kind of have to lean back from the screen and devote extra processing power to taking in what all of them are doing. O_O
I wish I knew what the lyrics meant, outside of the English (duh). “Car chase”? “Satellite”?
Now, the real challenge will be for them to pull this off perfectly in a live performance…ooooohhhhhhh.

I’m just wondering for anyone who speaks Japanese and knows adequate Japanese has their Japanese improved at all and can you understand them??? Seriously because they’re getting a lot of criticism because their language haven’t improved … But then other people are telling me that they’re pretty good ugh so confused >.<
