UPDATE: They will be performing at the Twin Towers on March 23rd! An estimated 70,000 people are expected to show up for the Malaysian F1 Concert.
Last month on my world tour in Southeast Asia I had the chance to grace upon Kuala Lumpur’s twin towers.
Word on the street is SNSD will be performing there alongside Orianthi, Nas’s ex Kelis (famous for Milkshake) and Pussycat Doll’s lead singer Nicole Scherzinger (oh my Eden’s Crush heart!).
Back in the day some of SNSD went to see the Pussycat Dolls perform, not to mention how many covers they’ve done.
(Weird that I was in Phuket while the girls were in Bangkok too –seems like I just can’t get away from them even when I’m not in Korea! Not that I’m complaining 😀 heh heh)

Okay, so here’s what I know.
Free tickets will be handed out. I don’t know where, but these tix allow the bearer to enter the free area, which is quite far from the stage.
You can fork out some cash to buy a ticket to the Fan Zone, though. From what I’ve heard, it’s RM75 per person, which is reasonable (I bought The Boys around that price too).
To those that are going… Lucky SONEs… My damned tuition classes are getting in the way. Please pray for me, cuz I’ve been waiting a long time…

@PRESTON, are you sure?.. From what I know the event is totally free and open.. It is actually in conjunction with the PETRONAS Malaysian Grand Prix this weekend..
I’ve just read that there are actually two zones.. Ticketed zone and public zone (which require no tickets). Ticket for the ticketed zone (or Fan Zone as they call it) can be obtained by purchasing RM150 worth of merchandise at the PETRONAS Malaysia Formula 1 Grand Prix Showcase at the concourse level of Suria KLCC. Gates to the concert open at 6.30 pm.. The exact venue is at the Dewan Filharmonik Entrance.

If I’m not wrong, this is about F1 event and is the last minute confirmation since there is a concert organized by another organizer, canceled previously. Venue, most probably is at the park. Such event in KLCC always organized at the park. Time, not sure. I saw it from some other fans updates, 6.30pm.

I feel sad that I missed another chance to see SNSD! 😦 First the Singapore concert moves from Feb 2012 to December 2011 and now SNSD all of sudden land in KL for a free concert! I would have gladly flown all the way to KL from India just to see the girls, had I know about this earlier!

I found out about this concert through my friend’s status update he’s going there, and he said that all the ticket was free but you just have to wait in line…my friend got the premium ticket (there’s a different line for the fan zone and i guess it’s a lot longer than the premium zone)…btw my friend and i are bruneians…he so lucky i don’t get to go cause i’m in brunei…my friend already got 2 tickets…here’s a photo of the ticket…
oh..i forgot to mention my friend said there are 2 types of the fan zones ticket the premium and the gold ticket he only got the premium one…but still he’s lucky…he gets to see snsd live…
