Basically, it’s a post by a K-SONE about why we all became a SONE in the 1st place. With the Girls promoting all over the world now, in addition to their many comeback stages, it is good, once in awhile, to go back to basics to remind ourselves of the perpetual attraction of the 9 ladies to us fans (SONEs).

I have a confession to make too…
I have been battling and fighting a rare disease for 2 years already. I also became nutrient deficient and anaemic since my body could hardly absorb the nutrients in the food I eat. I tend to be very cranky too. But ever since I became a SONE.. A lot of things changed. They’ve become like my VITAMINS (sometimes even my main medicines too!) and IRON capsules.. I’m even more amiable now… feels like my cells are being regenerated everytime I hear their songs, watch their videos and read about them here at SNSD Korean/Soshified.
I’m honestly not really sure if this “confession” I posted here relates to the topic above… but these are thoughts that first entered my mind… maybe because I got really emotional 😥
I’ve had a thousand attempts of “de-SONE-fying” aka “The Great Escape to SNSD fandom” in the past but all had failed. Well, well. I cannot really fool my heart. It tells me that I should stay a SONE forever. ♥♥♥
‘Forever’ always brings a tear, because its such a beautiful, emotional song. This post is just too sweet for mere words. I loved it. Thank you for sharing. When I saw this for the first time last week, I cried like crazy because it’s so true…
When I went off to college and was failing academically, I was really lonely and depressed and stressed out and would cry in the shower with the water on, so my roommates wouldn’t know that I was crying. I even thought of suicide many times. I liked the girls before, but it was during this hard time that I became a Sone and let the girls be my energy pill, vitamins, friends, companions, cheerleaders, etc. And I’m glad that God placed these 9 angels in my life during the darkest time of my life. Otherwise, I don’t know where I’ll be or if I’ll even be alive..
Last year, my parents ridiculed me for being attached to the girls so much and said the same stuff about the worthlessness…that I’m just wasting my time…what can the girls do for me…will they boost up my GPA?…that they’re a bunch of worthless trash… but they don’t know what these girls mean to me.
It doesn’t matter to me what others think.. some people I know are already criticizing the girls’ comeback and the girls themselves..But what matters is that we as sones love these girls and that the girls love us as well. They might not know us individually, but they know us collectively as sones. The girls give their all to show us their best performances and to show their love for us, and we sones do our best to support the girls in whatever they do and to show our love for them. That’s all that matters, and that’s why we are sones.

Agree. Once a SONE, always a SONE! Even though SNSD themselves don’t know each of the names of SONEs, in their hearts, SONEs keep them performing to their fullest. In return, they make SONEs hearts burst with love of them. 🙂

It’s my first time commenting here. I was to shy to express my feelings. I’m not a member but I visit this site a lot. In a day I check if I visited this site already. Because for me, my day isn’t complete without hearing, watching, reading about Girls’ Generation. I’m not a perfect SONE. I also think that they make mistakes and become bad examples. But I think, Why should I hate them when they’re like me, only popular. I agree that life is short and I also agree that they are worth living for. I just want to say is that even when I know that they do something wrong, I say to myself: “Why should I spend my SHORT life in hating them when I can support them!?” So I thank you for this site for giving me information about SNSD. And even though, SNSD can’t see this, I want to thank them for being my VITAMIN, my ENERGY, my HAPPINESS and especially for being my LIFE and HEART! I want to give congratulations to the author of this video. I struggled to hold back my tears; it was very emotive for me to watch the girls and the thoughts playing along with them. I can’t express how much I love these girls, how much warmth they bring to my heart every single day. Each time I turn my Pc on, that is, every day, the first thing I do is to search for the words “SNSD” in Youtube. I was always making fun of the fan phenomenon, but now I’m really in! Ironic 😀
