In a recently conducted survey, our deer Yoona was chosen as “the idol with the best doe-like eyes that makes you want to protect them.”
According to the survey which ran from August 2nd to 29th, Yoona claimed the top spot after receiving 43% (159) of the votes from a pool of 369 participants.
Those who voted for Yoona argued that her innocent looking eyes not only contributed to her beauty, but that by looking at them one would feel the need to protect her.
KARA’s Go Hara and After School’s Uee took the 2nd and 3rd spots respectively.

As far as the ‘looking at her eyes makes me wanna protect her’, I only feel that way about three celebrities; Kim Taeyeon, Amuro Namie, and Hwang Tiffany. Yoona’s eyes show me a mature woman. So do those three but instead have whimsical space cadet attitude that screams: I’m an awkward dork, but I’m a woman too.

Yoona seems a strong, confident woman to me. Goo Hara is the little doll who needs protection in my book. And Uee? She played the evil one in the K-Drama You’re Beautiful, right? It’s hard to see her as anything other than manipulative and catty after that role. I think she can take care of herself.
That said, sign me up for the Yoona protection crew any time!
