Now, how random can it get ? In a recent health survey done by Jamsil S-Neurosurgery clinic on which girl group was most successful in maintaining their health while performing, thus avoiding shoulder injuries, the results were interesting to note.

In the week-long survey, survey participants were asked “Among girl groups that have outstanding choreography, who do you believe are ‘Shoulder Girls’ who take good care of themselves to avoid injury?”. Girls’ Generation won with a clear majority of 52.2% and were hailed as the best “Shoulder Girls”. They were followed by Orange Caramel with 14.2%, Sistar with 12.5% and T-ara with 11.1%.

Dr. Yang Seungmin, resident head of Jamsil S-Neurosurgery clinic, stated that a lot of  idol pop groups face shoulder and back related injuries due to the rigorous choreography required in their stage performances. A fair number of them actually suffer from Rotator cuff tendinitis (aka Shoulder Impingement Syndrome), an inflammation of the tendons of the shoulder.

The survey participants thus selected girl pop groups whom they felt were able to give of their best during their performances, without, most importantly, resultant injury to themselves.

It is thus not surprising that our 9 ladies were able to top the survey. Their consistent adherence to a regular exercise regime, good nutritional habits (no doubt aided by Seobaby’s constant nagging to eat healthy ;)) and dedication to give the best that they can to their fans ensures a very healthy group of earthly angels :D.

(Disclaimer: In truth, not all the 9 has escaped “major injury” thus far in their career. Our dear Dilfany (Tiffany) has suffered her fair share of fractures, sprains and ligament tears, the latest being her knee injury late last year. However, I personally believe that, having 8 other “guardian angels” watching over her, she’ll be fine in the long run.)

I don't know about you, but those look like Strong shoulders to me !
