On the 8th of May, actress Lee Da Hae guested on MBC TV’s ‘Section TV Entertainment Relay – Rising Star‘ and revealed that she was once mistaken for an SNSD member.
A few days ago, while eating naengmyun (cold noodles) with actress Kang HyeJung, a fan who saw me shouted, ‘It’s SNSD!’, making Kang HyeJung envious of me
While one would think that the actress would feel miffed for being misidentified, instead she said,
It felt really good

its nice to see that korean actresses (like lee dahae) are grateful that she’s mistaken for an snsd. korean actress/actors should be really proud of SNSD since they’re exposing korean pop culture in other countries :). a while back legendary korean director im kwon taek said on an interview that he would like to meet SNSD soon…

There’s a rumor that SNSD will be releasing their 1st japan full length album on June 1, 2011.
It’s not yet confirmed by SM but I hope it’s true.
It’s said that it will have 12 songs include all 4 songs (genie, gee, run devil run, mr. taxi).
Another one who doesn’t hate the thought of being SNSD. Like Kim Ah Joong recently. Talents, stars, actors, actresses manage their popularity, exposure and personae with an eagle’s eye to detail. They HAVE to, to remain in a favorable light with a fickle public. Scandal, or worse, waning popularity, a bad review, a poor choice in projects can doom a career into irrelevance or mockery.
This is why you’ll see stars go into promotional cycles, with carefully tailored exposure, on news and variety shows, tidbits like this, interviews, CF’s. They can’t risk overexposure. It’s all about keeping the public interested and hungry.
SNSD is inured to most of this, not only because SME is really good at what they do, but because they are unique. Each of them has her own fandom as well as the umbrella of SNSD. How can one get tired of them? So many facets, talents, aspects to enjoy in this collection of nine very different people, and this is only multiplied by combinations.
And this helps the girls too, because they can just be themselves. Aware, yes, always aware of their outward exposure, but true to themselves in a way that a solo performer could never be. THIS is what draws wistful envy. Someone like Kim Ah Joong or Lee Da Hae walks their life in the public eye alone. It’s scary, and pressure filled, and nerve racking.
But the nine have each other, to shoulder their burdens, to share their thoughts and cares and worries. Each knows the others are walking the SAME road with them. And that makes it easier.
Prior to knowing SNSD, I watched Lee Da Hae’s famous drama “My Girl”. When I saw this dance battle of SNSD, WG, Kara and Black Pearl, I saw a glimpse of Yuri, who I thought was the prettiest face I’ve ever seen. Then when I watched my first Soshi video, “Girls’ Generation”, I swear I thought Yuri was Lee Da Hae. That’s how I started getting into snsd ^^

hmm I know that some Korean girls really don’t like SoShi, but I really have no clue as to why. I am glad to hear this actress Lee Da Hae is glad to be mistaken for one of our girls, I think it is such a compliment to say a girl looks like soshi
