The competition is intense. Will they win something again?
Remember the time SNSD won the Daesang award? Well, the award ceremony is on again. Organised by Sports Seoul and sponsored by High1 Resort, the 20th High1 Seoul Music Awards will be held on the 20th of January, 2011 at the Hall of Peace, Kyunghee University in Hoegi-dong. It will be aired live between 7-10pm on Y★star and Comedy TV.
The nominees with the highest mobile popularity votes will be awarded 20% (from total points) for the “High1 Popularity Award” category. Currently in regards to mobile votes, Beast is taking first place in the ‘Bonsang’ category (21.7%), Suju chasing behind closely (18.8%), 2PM in 3rd place (12.5%) and landing in 4th position is SNSD (9.2% – Oh! and Run Devil Run).
The Ladies’ rank appear better in the ‘Popular Award’ category, with SHINee coming first (32.2%) and followed by SNSD with 22.9% (Oh! and Run Devil Run). SJ is in 3rd place with 22.8%.

UPDATE: The girls have left third place behind in the ‘Popularity Award’ category and are currently occupying the top spot! Sones should give themselves a pat on the back for boosting SNSD’s position. 😀 Meanwhile in the ‘Bonsang Award’ category SNSD faces fierce competition from Beast and Super Junior, in first and second place respectively, with Soshi rounding out third. All I can say is, Let’s go Soshi, Let’s Go!!

i really don’t get how SMA works. like for the bonsang,how does the system work? talking about digital sales,album sales,our girls totally beat it. remember how beast lost to us during hoot promotions even they made a comeback 3 weeks later? album sales,digital sales ,both.true,they’ve sold 100k due to the releasing of 4 albums. but if that so,with only 2 albums,snsd have sold 300k. triple the amount of beast. so why? if suju won 1st place,im not really surprised. they’re our girls’ sunbaenim. they’ve been there longer,and have bigger fan-base.obviously. but beast? hm..
also for the popular award,i can’t help but wonder,how th did shinee got 1st? was it based on the votes? because obviously shinee have less sales than sj and snsd. but if it’s voting,how did elf lose? elf never lose when it comes to voting terms.though for the Inkysang results ,snsd won 2nd place with 29.9% ,while shinee grab 1st with 32.2%,suju #3 with 29.4%. 1st and 2nd will get the award.
