my guess would probably be because of the Jonghyun/Se Kyung scandal, SM are under a lot of pressure by the fans because of this recent revelations. for strategic reasons they probably don’t want to release the MV right at this moment because it’ll mean that SNSD’s comeback won’t impact the fans too much because they’ll go up against what’s the heated topic right now :(. i’m all for mv but i don’t want SNSD to get less spotlight because there’s a scandal going on in the kpop world. i want them to own 2010 so hopefully this issue would die down faster (although that won’t happen anytime soon). and it might be possible that SM will pull the comeback and delay it till next week.
I agree with your reasoning behind SM delaying the release of the MV. But this is NOT A SCANDAL, there’s nothing illegal or even remotely wrong with Jonghyun and Shin Sekyung’s confirmed relationship. It only became a big deal because fangirls are acting insane like jealous little crazies who’d want to keep their idols to themselves forever and forbid them to live like real people.
I cannot comprehend what they’re doing to SSK, what a poor girl, she’s really sweet and IMO a great match for Jonghyun who happens to be my favorite SHINee, but I’m a guy and I’m rational, I’m happy for them and I hope all the fangirls would just STFU and stop stealing spotlight from our girls! Don’t get me started on what would happen if some day one of our girls is confirmed to be in a relationship, I’d be happy for them no matter what because that’s what a real SONE would do. Those crazy Shawol fangirls are a disgrace to SHINee and SMTown.
yeah i agree…i’m all for their relationship but couldn’t they just wait a bit longer to tell the whole world they’re dating?! why do they have t reveal it now? and definitely… shin se kyung is a very shy and reserve girl. i always thought that she would end up with an older guy i would have never imagine that she would end up with jonghyun, lol!
btw: its possible that some of the girls have/had or in a relationship one time or another. i mean there’s tons of stories written about the girls and rumors are base on fragments of truth. i mean there’s a possibility that seohyun and yongwha are actually dating besides being in a virtual marriage. i know for sure that tiffany and taekyeon (2PM) are very close friends.

Jonghyun and SSK didn’t reveal it, Sports Seoul did, you can thank the media and the power of investigative journalism for that. SM wisely chose not to deny it, it’s only humane not to deny them of their personal life, very uncharacteristic of SM but I applaud them for the decision.
It does not surprise me if the girls were/are in relationships, and they have my full support for dating. I already think of YongSeo as a real couple, but I don’t think Tiff and Taec were since Taec has always been linked to Yoona. But it doesn’t matter, the point is, I am all for the girls living their life with happiness, and they shall not be deprived of personal decisions because of the fans’ selfish wishes. People need to grow up, they’re just idols and they’re humans too, fans don’t own them!

These rumors are very very likely to be false, and probably fabricated by bored people on the net. No need to go help spread the word 🙂 Let’s just keep this comment section focused on the actual post itself!
I personally hate to see these rumors and it wasn’t my intention to bring up the subject. I just want the MV to be released, it’s overdue already and these rumors and gossip aren’t helping cause they’re shifting people’s focus away from the important stuff.
