time for me to watch SNSD’s “new” documentary, “Right Now It’s SNSD”! SSF recently finished subbing it and it’s all up on youtube.
As you all may or may not know, this episode sprung a huge controversy. Many S♥NES were displeased with a certain section of the commentary. Anyway, I’m sure if it’s anything TOO big, we’ll catch on it. If not, then we can all blame the subbers (j/k don’t, they’re hard working people) for mistranslating, or just call this off as another case of the netizens over-reacting.
Here are the rest of the parts.

wah… been waiting for this… thank you… gonna watch it now in youtube..
bossa747 mentioned once that netizens weren’t really happy with how the concept of the show is done, since the first episode had a couple; an SNSD-obsessed boyfriend and a jealous girlfriend, commenting on bits of the show as it progressed, so it’s kinda annoying to an extent.
I dunno, but I like it, the concept. It’s just like the concept of We Got Married now. 2AM’s Seulong and Jinwoon along with the other MCs will add in side comments as the married couples do stuff.
*shrugs*

i honestly dont see anything wrong with this series, maybe the slightly obsessed boyfriend but then again, I’m a little bit like that haha
Loved it!
Yay for some unseen BTS! 😀
haha I actually love the concept! It’s painfully realistic… the commentary kinda reminds me of the convo between me and my anti-KPop friend when we watch KPop stuff 😛
Haha.Very funny.Seems like it is a warning of what awaits me when I get a girlfriend.
Seeing them just makes me 😀
I can see why netizens would be upset about the obsessed boyfriend / jealous girlfriend concept, but you’ve got to admit – it’s probably the least offensive profiling choice. Would it have been better to profile a 50-year old man drooling at the screen? Or a desperately ugly 30-year old without a girlfriend living in his parents’ basement?
Do they have basements in Korea?! I don’t know.
But you get the point. They’re just trying to control the perception of SNSD fans as at least being average human beings with a slight fandom deviance, as opposed to full-on perverted maniacs.
I can totally see where you’re coming from. TV always shows what is politically correct. This concept blends obsession and societal norms. Good acting though, on a side note.
I guess the ones getting mad are fangirls. And rightly so. The clip says that SNSD gets there thanks to the fanboys. The fangirls wouldnt be happy to hear that as they to contributed to SNSD’s popularity and success.
As a fanboy I’m not bothered by this episode. However I do hope that someone would highlight that SNSD have fangirls too and that they are marketed for both boys and girls. My friends (especially girls) think that I’m a pervert for liking SNSD. Surely something from fangirl point of view could help my case.
awesome show snsd fighting =D
haha, the otaku snsd fan concept it’s funny!
i dont think it’s that offensive, i mean, it could be a lot worse.
all nine girls look so pretty *.*
wow! yeah! i’ve been dying for the subs to come out!
more SoShi shows to watch!
thank you so much SoshiSubs! FIGHTING !!
Finally! Haha. But isn’t there like 4 or 5 eps of
“Right Now It’s Girls Generation” already?
Will they be subbing the rest?
I also do think the concept is kinda annoying but at least we still get to watch SNSD! 😀
guys do you know how to cook haemul-pajeon???haha..and snsd keep fighting love yoona!
Love you guys!!!!!just remember EVERYDAY IS A SUNNY DAY!!
As far as the controversy, don’t people understand the concept of “satire”? It was obviously overdone on purpose and I though it was pretty clever.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, except for Taeyeon’s fairy costume. Whoever picked that out needs to be re-assigned 🙂
i found the chinese sub , and finish watching it last month 😀
