I prefer the other white outfit (in the post/entry below this one). But I don’t think it’s that bad. I’m not liking the collar, that’s all. It makes the shorter ones look even shorter! Anyway. Overall, good performance. They looked kinda tired but it’s understandable. And I also hope they get headsets for upcoming performance!
totally agree.. i juz dun like them holding on to mic when performing.. cant see the full dance. ^^
This is first time that I have ever thought, “wow, they look bad.” Who was the genius who thought this outfit and hairstyle would look good on them? Whoever did needs to be shot.

Lol ‘what on earth are they wearing’ is the exactly what i though also.. The girls looked a bit bigger and taller with the white outfits..Or it just me or Fany looked erm *cough*overweigh..Bt stil love her
She’s not “overweight”, her thighs are just toned to the max.
I heard Taeyeon is sick during this performance, no wonder why she looks pale (can’t hardly notice? if you look and listen to her voice closely, she’s really not 100% well) >_< BUT then she gave her all & delivered an outstanding performance… Taengoo get well & ♥saranghe♥!!! ^^

I agree, the white outfits aren’t exactly flattering, but it does make a statement: SNSD runs it’s own trend. I’m sure a white trend will pick up, and maybe some more funky hair for future perfs. I appreciate the fact that they didn’t go with the traditional black everyone was expecting them to wear!
The perf was okay, not their best, but considering all the activities they’ve been doing in the last two weeks… it’s understandable that they’d be a little worn. Plus I heard they were filming another CF the day before!
I just hope SM gives them enough time between activities so they can rest a little… SNSD fighting!!
Taeng is amazing at covering up her illness, those who don’t know her too well would just assume that nothing is wrong with her, lol. She works so hard. They all do. Seobaby was amazing. O__O I didn’t know she could sing like that!
I actually kinda like their outfits, looks futuristic in a way~

I wish that they would have debuted with their individual outfits. Sometimes it’s nice to see they’re own personalities in their attire and not just in their own person. Althogh I don’t mind the white outfits (again on iPhone since I’m Internet deficient for the week), I wish that they could have had more individuality; there are nine girls on the stage.
All in all, our girls did us proud. I hoping for black hoods for today’s performance.
All I could think while watching the performance was, “Dude, they look like the Jetsons.”
It showed how fatigued they were, poor girls. Why would SM even let them film a commercial the night before the comeback, that’s just stupid on their part.
Because with Boa abroad, DBSK’s contract problems, controversies with some SuJu members and SHINee & f(x) not being that big yet, the girls are the most marketable thing SM have right now.
SM are independent of other companies, so they need to push their artists harder than others to make money… unfortunately I don’t think they know when they push them too hard.
Shinee is big too. They’ll be making their comeback in april when snsd finishes promotions.
Boa will be coming back in august, if you didn’t know. :]
I couldn’t take my eyes off of Sooyoung. Something about her in this perf made me look passed the hair and outfit and just admired Soo.

I have no problem with what they are wearing… I love the blash soshi image and every time i see them wearing something like this, it just makes me imagine such hard looks from the girls… It’s really hot.
The problem comes from the hair, after seeing the MV and all their different hair styles looking so good on them (Yoona’s quickly grew on me) it kinda bums me out to see them all with the same hair style and with it being kinda shoddy. I noticed as they danced, it would become a bit loose and the knot on the heads would bounce…
Let’s home their next perf has the hairstyles from the MV, esp the ponytails…
You can tell their vocals weren’t 100% but by no means was it a bad performance. They sure can make a bad outfit look good though.

i liked their hair, but i thought the outfits looks cheap. It would be nice to see some individual outfits, rather than making them all look the same, like during their Genie performances. They were all military/sailor themed, they each were unique. I just hate the matchy matchy/stretchy/cheap sequin stuff going on. And the dancing was kinda boring to me. I don’t know. I’m not to excited about this song era.
I actually quite liked their outfits and their hair, but they looked bloody hell tired, and you could tell by the vocals that something was up. And their accentuation of certain words was a bit heavier than the actual track.
I like the outfits.
I have to agree with most of you – their fatigue is palpable. The concept of being ‘dark’ kind of goes with it, I guess, but human expression is a very subtle thing that most of us have a very good sense of even if we can’t quite explain it in words.
It’s interesting – you might think that happy and energetic would be the toughest thing to fake when you’re actually totally exhausted, but I think this kind of act is actually even harder, precisely because it’s so close in tone to the way you actually feel, and so you slip that much more easily into the real thing…
The costumes, set, hair, lighting etc. is also not great, but consider this – the staff that designs and builds everything around the Soshi image is probably just as spent, both creatively and physically, as the SNSD members themselves are.
Charlie makes a really good point – with all of SM’s other troubles, SNSD is probably their one unambiguously bankable product right now. That being said, I hope someone over there starts thinking long-term, and doing what needs to be done to ensure that SNSD can entertain us for years to come without anyone literally getting hurt.
It’s acceptable to consume entertainment – it isn’t acceptable to consume people.
I actually like the outfit…looks kinda cool. All the SNSD members do look quite tired they weren’t as “bad” looking (facial expression wise) as they were in the MV. Taeyeon was definitely trying hard to give a wonderful performance…although her voice wasn’t as strong it was still wonderful. SNSD FIGHTING!!!
you can see the girls are tired. especially tiff on 2:18. she pulled out her gut for those last lines. 😦
I’m not a big fan of the outfits and some of the hair style (specifically Tiffany for me) but overall the performance was good!

what? i loved those. yes they’re diff compare to the mv white outfits but i honestly like this. with their concept the high collar thing does give an effect don’t u think?
I wasn’t going to, but I completely caved in and ended up watching this via live stream last night. I honestly think that they should have lip synced. Everything about that performance lacked energy – they looked exhausted the whole time.
I thought their manner seemed more “gangsta” than in the MV, although the clothes did nothing to help it. I was wondering why such badass girls are cute-ish, white outfits? Tae and Tiff were the ones who really sounded like they were trying to hit it harder than in the recorded song. I felt bad for Taeyeon, she was trying as much as she could, but her expression gave her struggle away.
That aside, I thought Jess, Yul and Sooyoung really brought it!!! Their voices seemed in pretty well working order and while I’m sure they were tired, their faces made me think otherwise.
I wish they could have had at least one week to rest between the releasing of the MV and their comeback performances.

I agree with everyone comments over here. yeah, they filmed a CF before their comeback. That’s why they looked so tired and exhausted. SM entertainment push SNSD real hard. They need to give them so rest. Their outfit was alright, not that bad la. yeah, Taeyeon sound like her throat is swollen again. I wished they could get more rest. This song was addictive.
Tiffany gain a bit weight, but she still look great.

watched the vid, I have to say, I’d rather them do lip synching and practice live a bit more. Since the choreography is so active throughout the whole song and I’m sure they didn’t have all that much time to practice which shows since they’re all so fatigued (taeyeon looked white in the face, it was painful). The hair was a big step down and I was simply confused with the collars. I’m sure the next one will be much better. Even I cringed when Tiff went off synch
