Yes, I know, holy moly.
Everyday, our girls are one step closer to winning over the heart of Asia. In a recent cheer competition in Thailand held against different colleges, Debsirin School (all-boys school) decided to use Girls’ Generation as their representative image. Students in the stands held up individual placards collectively showing an image which represents their college. As we can see, Bangkok Christian College chose an image of Jesus, whereas Debsirin chose Girls’ Generation from their “Genie” phase, with a subtle green color change in order to match their school.
Looking at these pictures, you can see the popularity SNSD has in Thailand, and how widespread they are throughout Asia.

I don’t think Jesus would be terribly approving of the girls’ outfits. Honestly, prostitutes in his time make them look like… Animals (it’s the nicest thing I could think of). By standards back in the day, they’d be considered to be wearing rags. Even the homeless would be better covered than them.
I guess the Romans and Jews just didn’t understand true beauty.
