okay so I’m sure most of you have read my post here regarding Tiffany’s absence a few weeks ago. Some might have still be doubting this source or didn’t hear about it and many questions were raised as to where Tiffany was during the filming of Intimate Note.
SM Entertainment has finally realeased an official statement saying her grandfather had indeed passed away so under the unavoidable circumstances, she had to fly back to the states.
Old news but just thought I’d tell you all since it’s an official statement from SM themselves.

By American standards, this announcement is appalling belated. Wonder if it’s a cultural thing. If Tiffany had the same stature in the US that she does in Korea, the US news media would have been all over it, forcing an immediate announcement (with the celebrity usually pleading for some distance and respect from the frenzied media people).
