On the recently broadcasted episode of Ya Shim Man 2, the ShikShin of the group revealed that she was disappointed when they were told that the group they were debuting in wasn’t 3, but six more than that.
Now I probably would be too, I mean nine is a big number and it’s scary to think that you might be overshadowed and what not. Luckily of course, the group turned out well. 🙂 Anyway continuing..
Yuri also mentioned the intense competition before debut..Girl fight?!
That’s a basic summary of it all, wouldn’t want to spoil anymore of the show for you guys!
lol. aw. Soo was probably worried about having to stand out among the group. and the girls were probably awkward with so much ppl too. glad they made it this far and got so close to each other. ^_^
Ahh, the Shikshin was plain worried about the portion of food she has to share among 6 more girls rather than 3. I mean, she doesn’t wanna share her fried chicken and bibimbap where she’ll only get 1/9 of it =(
I would be disappointed too. 9 members means you’ll have to “nanonized” your effort to stand out and get recognition. Plus you’ll have more members to be compared too and Sooyoung did debuted first in a duo group. Still, i dont think SNSD are who they are today without each other. The mystical power of nine still leaves me mystified.
Previously, SooYoung had been part of a duo. So nine must have seemed like a herd.
I suppose the ego that wannabe artists typically possess probably contains the desire to be noticed in particular. Somehow I doubt that this towering, pretty girl was the most worried about not being noticed.
I would have also thought that she felt cheated after making it into a supposedly 3 member band. Might have made all her efforts seem a lot less worth it.
Haha I still love those Anycall profiles; that Sooyoung face is priceless!
And I am glad to see that these 9 girls didn’t let their egos get in the way of what is undoubtedly amazing chemistry and camadre. Each one definitely brings something new to the table, and I definitely the group would be less of a group if each wasn’t a part of it. The power of 9 eh?
And yes, being in a group of 9 means learning the value of sharing; I’m sure shikshin is all the better because of it =)
