This year’s MNet’s 20’s Choice will be held on October 28th & Voting has already started! You can vote on MNet’s site : http://choice.mnet.com/2009/AwardVote/AwardVote.asp (you will need to have an make an mnet account to vote).

But before I get to the list of nominees. If anyone is wondering what the awards are about,
…it’s similar to America’s “Teen Choice Awards” except people in their 20s choose their icons of Korean culture for various categories. This year, there will be 20 different sections.
The award ceremony will include a blue carpet, as well as many star performances. The award categories along with their nominees were announced on August 5th, and are available after the jump.

The time of the live broadcast, I believe “Red Carpet” is 5PM ~ 7PM & from 7PM ~ 10PM is the awards itself.

So you can vote for the girls 3-4 times (if you count “Marine Look”). The girls are nominated for “HOT Performance” & “Hot Online Song”, while Yoona is nominated for “HOT Multitainer”. 50% of the assessment will be from the polls and the other 50% are from standard results amongst 20s.
I’m looking forward to this year’s awards, seeing as last years was awesome; the girls won an award for “HOT Sweet Music”. Here’s the performance and rehearsal if you haven’t seen it yet.

HOW TO VOTE: okay my instruction only goes so far because you NEED an account to vote so youre gonna have to sign up…how? ehh I’m gonna have to find it somewhere because I already had an account made from last years voting.
but if you already have an account, this is what you do.
that link leads you directly to the voting place and the bullets that Joyce has made here, are in the order they are presented in the catergories so even if you cant read Korean, refer back to this post and you’ll be able to vote for the right person. They also have pictures next to the name. (oh if youre not signed in, when you check the box to vote a new window will open asking you to sign in. so just sign in and it’ll refresh the voting page for you to vote)
so choose who you want to vote and click the white box thing. to move onto the next catergory just click that orange tetris shaped box thing. and in the end youcan submit.
i’ll post instructions on how to make an account once i find out 🙂

i have an account, but when i try to vote, a little thing pops up. i know it’s not telling me to log in since the top of the page already says that i’m logged in. i dunnooo how to read korean ]: can u tell me what it could possibly mean? maybe there is a step i missed???

HOW TO VOTE!!! PLEASE READ!!!!
I ripped this off a website from Shinhawglish, so i am very sorry, but i needed to instructions for the greater good, i.e. SNSD.

Go to this url: http://www.mnet.com/
At the top of the page(usually in the right corner), you should find the registration button. Click on it.
The next page will have a few buttons. Click on the FOREIGNER option. The button looks like this:
This should bring you to the Agreements page. Check all the boxes. I think there are about 4 of them. (Are they really expecting foreigners to read the agreement in Korean ? lolz) After you’ve checked all the boxes, scroll to the very bottom and click SAVE.
You will now reach the Personal Information page. It’s in English and pretty self explanatory (usernames, passwords, etc). Just fill it in like you would for any other registration.`
At the bottom of the Personal Information page is an email and authentication number thing. Enter your email, click CERTIFICATION. DO NOT CLICK MORE THAN ONCE, since it will only cause mnet to keep resending you a new authentication number.
Now go CHECK your email to find your authentication no. This may take a few minutes. Be patient.
Now go back to fill in and verify the Authentic No. Click SAVE.
You will come to this confirmation page. Now login.
Enter username and password.
Congratz. You are now ready to access mnet and vote on polls, etc.
